As it is summer (I guess most of you game freaks have not noticed, as you only go out to get booze and crack at night Wink)
and the releases have slowed down to a FULL STOP!. What games are you currently recycling at the mo?

Me...gonna give Lego Indy a go as I have not played it yet talk about DESPERATE....or? Rolling Eyes

Well....mowed the lawn this morning...job searchin...did some surfing... probably drinkin later... Um... Don't know really. I actually started playing D2 again (on bnet). I forgot how much fun that game was. I really just play that and Battlefield Bad Company. My gaming has really gone downhill since the summer started.

However...

DoD just had a fairly big update.
TF2 Pyro update is out, HWGuy next month maybe.
Devil May Cry 4 is out in a week.

Stalker Clear Sky & BIA: Hell's Highway in late August.

After upgrading to an 8800 GT recently, I decided to get out Medieval 2 with some nice new mods again as it finally runs flawlessly even with huge armies Smile

I also reinstalled Homeworld 2 which I haven't played for ages.
Great game!

I'm also using the extra free time to work on my C# skills Smile

Thought about trying Medieval 2 again too. But somehow I just suck at it. If somebody got a guide for total noobs and idiots - I'd appreciate it. ^^ damn, where's that stupid dvd anyway...
Never tried Call Of Juarez - was it any good?
and i might dig up Puzzle Quest again - it's fun, for a while at least.
I'm waiting for a working rls of the Geo Political Simulator and I might try getting into Galactic Civilizations 2

Any triple A releases on the horizon that one might look forward to?

oh, btw. Which one is better Silent Hunter 3 or 4? (or should I say, more noob-friendly Wink

COJ=Brilliant, you must play it NOW! Wink

SHIII/IV= Both!
III= is "Das Boot" as a game sorta , na but its one of the best simulations you ever get your hands on, the learning curve is not that steep, might need an hour or so to get in to (depending reality settings)

IV=has better graphics but when I stopped playing/modding it had some minor bugs.

But you need MODS!!!!!! for SH
check this site out
http://www.subsim.com
Have not been there for ages so you have to find out what is the best mix at the mo. But these guys kick ASS! in terms of modding.

Basically both games in the SH series are simply kick ass!
forget about "N00B"just check it out and enjoy.

Mod community is still active with new mods coming out every day, so it's still a fresh experience. Not to mention the awesome gfx improvements.

Runaway: A road adventure (finally getting around to playing it)
Overclocked (hard to get into, and a bit clunky.. but the story intrigues me so far)
Culpa Innata (haven't really gotten into it yet, but I'm trying)
Timeshift (great shooter I never did finish)
GRID (haven't truly gotten into a racing game like this since the original Gran Turismo)

And I just got hold of Perry Rhodan Smile

Fuck this summer I haven't played a game for over 3 weeks now.
Alone In The Dark is not cracked shit ass fuck
Mass Effect DLC still not fucking out!!!!!
Devil May Cry 4.. I'm waiting....argh

I played GRID to death already and all I got left on my HDD now is Trackmania United Forever.
However, I might give Sins Of A Solar Empire a try, although I detest Strategy games. This one seems to be different, tho.

GTA San Andreas, TF2 and Armed Assault.

Want to play Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 + the expansions.

Those of you who want to play BG1, check out BG1Tutu/EasyTutu. It lets you play BG1 using the BG2 engine which sounds pretty damn good to me. Smile

what's so special about Mass Effect DLC as far as I heard it's just a side mission and a planet
nothing special about it , not worth the wait
I could be wrong tho

I also kinda dislike strategy games well I could enjoy them but not as much as action/adventure games
but lately I tried C&C , WiC and universe at war , the first two are great , UAW tho wasn't as good
some strategy games get me interested most don't
that's what's good about online gaming it keeps you going for a loong time

Thanks to Blizzard's WWI and it's Diablo 3 announcement I HAD to play a hack & slash good looking and decent game. Therefore:

- Titan Quest - Immortal Throne

and

- The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king - War of the Ring campaign mode;
- Guild Wars (2 mins/week);
- Mount & Blade;
- BioShock (simply to admire Rapture - a fine piece of art).

Still waiting for BioWare to move their asses and release the damn patch for Mass Effect, to be able to play the game properly.

Nonetheless, mainly there's nothing new under the sun and the feeling of boredom is clearly near.

Worse part is I am starting to think about WoW again. Damn crack... Must eliminate that thought! Hmm, let's see:

"Must concentrate and think of something else and nice... tits, boobs, tits, hooters, boobs, tits, tits, she-night-elfs... damn... tits, boobs, boobs, Arthas... WTF?! ..."
