Luckily I've never had any ticks.
Humans can, I think, get at least 2 diseases from ticks. One can be cured and vacinated against, but there is no vacine or cure for the other one.

Only certain species of ticks carry disease. You also have to check out an area map because some areas are worse then others. I think if you check out the WHO webside it should tell you.

Saw a programme once about Lyme. Very difficult to diagnose and cure.

You can't cure it as far as I know. It is from the Deer tick. BC center of Disease Control has a bunch of deer ticks as examples. They give tours to students in lab sciences.

Wow that is huge.
I haven't had one before. I have had a couple of leeches tho. I used salt and vinegar chips and it fell off.

I got 2 tickbites mushroom hunting on may 5 they are still there. Almost gone now, but itch like hell still. Last year got one in my belly button while grilling out, and it took 6 months before the lesion closed. The doc said though most dont carry lyme or spotted fever, the have bacteria that can mess you up good.

You cant find shrooms in Bc Pistol? Next time I talk to my friend in BC I'll ask him where he goes shroom picking. Fuck, you can even do it in ontario, just they arent as good and you need to eat way more than 2 or 3g's to get a buzz

I haven't found any yet. The thing is that a hand full of people tell me they find them but they are full of shit. You have to pick them and watch the stem turn blue. That is how you know. What they have showed me are lawnmower mushrooms which might make you high if you eat a lot. So many that you would end up getting sick.
You have to be carefull with SBM. Small Brown Mushrooms. The wrong one will kill you. You get sick and then get better. 2 weeks later you die of kidney and liver failure. It isn't something you fuck around with. Or else it is darwins law for you.
I am not hunting tho for shrooms but "chicken of the woods" and "moral mushrooms" and Chanterelles. I love to go out and look tho. Sometimes I take a picture and don't pick. If you do pick them you should flick them first to release the spors so they grow back.
I don't like mushrooms (shrooms) . I get annoyed really easy and they aren't fun for me.
