I played a few that are relaxing, clever and had a fine soothing music. Don't hold it against me, but I can't remember what their names were. Ones that I do remember are: Ballance/Switchball, Cloud (played it a little), even Flow (was fun for a while) .
Games these days are too hard and frustrating.I need one that will relax me, not exhaust me.

final fantasy 10. The whole game is like a dream.. really layed back and smooth visuals, relaxing music and not too much action, just the right ammount to keep it interesting.
i guess when i want to really relax , i play Mafia and just roam around the world , not doing any missions , go through the contry side and admire the landscape , i know that nowadays there like a gazillion free roaming games , but i still find Mafia's world impressive and not to mention immerssive.
but you could simply try some cards games or roulette , casino games like Hoyle
I must agree with all points on FFX being relaxing except combat. While it's awesome to look at incredible looking spells and enemies dying, many fights later in the game will be frustrating. Oh and random encounters sometimes will make you want to destroy the controller. So while it is a very relaxing game (like a dream as kaeye said), there are also many frustrating moments (not that they are bad in this kind of game). Bottom line FFX is amazing but not the most relaxing game
Didn't really dig that Simon says concept, but the game was absolutely amazing.
Just looked and FFX is on PS2 only :O? Just don't wanna mess with those pesky emulators on my rig. :-/
Yes it's fully playable with some very very minor graphical glitches and some cranky sound in cutscenes. You need a very good computer to play it smoothly thou.
It may sound weird but for me the most relaxing game I have played is Fallout 1. Ambient soundtrack in the background and you are exploring the world. Very relaxing.
I have--my brother bought an Alienware m17x laptop for some reason, and I tested it with my copy. Even on that thing (it gets 8500 3DMarks IIRC--paradoxically he was too cheap to bling the specs out), it only runs at full speed with the AA off, which makes it look pretty ugly. A GeForce 6600 definitely wouldn't cut it.
@ HiCZoK.Std: I have played Syberia and the game is ok. In some moments it's even boring. :-/
@ fawe4: Kyodai is very nice. Magic the gathering is not my thing to be honest.
@WhiteBarbarian: Fallout. Never played it.(My brother played it, I just watched him.)
Now I just don't have the time.
Gonna try the Crazy Machines 2 and I-Fluid.
Ty all for your suggestions.
X3- reunion just fly about in space at your own leisure, dock with a station if you want/buy n sell goods, the music in X2 and X3 are really laid back electronica type stuff
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth
Agree with longest yourney, dont miss this if you like point & click adventures. Its one of the greatest games ever made and has a very soothing, fantasy feel to it. Damn might play it again myself
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!
