I have a Duo2 processor, X1950 video card, I remember with my old PC and FFX the cutscenes were all distorted and it ran real slow?? how are they now adays?? can you play games like Shadow of the Collosus perfect with a good PC?

Also, note that the best CPUs to run PCSX2 on -- are the Core2 series. Especially QuadCore procs, as the emulator is CPU-bound rather than GPU (IE; A Q6600 with a 7600GS will get far superior results than an AthlonX2 and an 8800GT)

Wrong. The best for PCSX2 are highly clocked Core 2 Duo CPU's. PCSX2 don't support 4 cores, only 2.

According to PCSX2 website, compatibility list, God of War and Shaow of the Collosus still run like crap. Looks like the two best PS2 games still arent very playable on EMU.
