...and I'm having a blast with it. Got tired of messing around with emu and decided to pick up the real thing. Currently playing FFX (almost finished that on emu but now playing as it was intended without any glitches) and God of War. I'm blow away by PS2's games variety. What a bargain. You might think I'm crazy that I bought PS2 at this time and day but I don't need HD gfx to enjoy games, and if I want good gfx I have my PC for that. I'm still planning on getting X360 later on, when it gets more than 1-2 games that I'd like to play that aren't on PC.

As I see it, the newer PS2 games are JRPGs and Party games, very dissappointing.

I planned on getting a ferrari but ended up getting a KIA instead. You might think I'm crazy but it gets me where I want to go and I had a lot of colors to choose from.

I see what you tried to do there poisonousj, but comparing the best sold console with the most AAA titles ever to KIA is simply retarded. But it's ok these are responds I kinda expected from this gfx over gameplay whoring console gamers generation.

A better analogy might have been that he bought the 1998 Lamborghini instead of the 2006 Ferrari. I guess.

yea you're right. Can't say I put much thought into it. Just browsing the forum to see if anyone has insight on the new 360 dashboard update.

Get Shadow of Rome, it's one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, one of the most gory too. Even the graphics are acceptable by todays standards because of the blurring used in the larger battlefields.

I concur. I STILL play my PS2 today, even with my PC and 360 at my fingertips.

PS2 Crystal chipped here aswell, owned it more than two years now, awesome stuff. Go get Guitar Hero btw and buy two controllers, awesomeness.
Then fighting games like Tekken or Soul Calibur. Oh and enjoy all that homebrew stuff like snes and things, works for more players aswell and no need for swapping all those cartridges anymore.

takes almost no space, barely makes a sound, and it has so many cool games.
if you're into JRPGs there even persona 4 yet to come out as well as some other strategy rpg by atlus.. eternal poison or something.
can't wait for those
if you ask me, then unless you're a graphics whore or already own a PS2, you should get a PS2 over a 360 or ps3, just because you can have so much more fun with it, the games are cheaper and you have such a huge library of outstanding games... |
You think just like me. I already have many good PS2 exclusives ready to be played including most of the best JRPGs, hoping to finish every single of them over time

What is there to think about? It's not xbox exclusive, coming for the PC too.

It's a clever little puzzle game that is no way worth the price tag. The "speed run" is only useful for people who get off on that, and besides that, there's no replayability. No way I'm paying 1200 points on a 2 hour puzzle game when I could easily spend that 1200 on a full Xbox Original.
i can has computar?!

... which could end up exactly as it did for me; lame or non-functional.
I've given up on the idea of buying XB-Originals off the marketplace.
1. Fable. 1200MSP for a buggy, pre-release, of the game Fable was supposed to be. It's not TLC, it's the ORIGINAL shit version. Why on earth MS released that instead of TLC is beyond me. Thanks, that was 1200MSP down the drain.
2. Psychonauts (PAL version). 1200MSP for a non-functional game. It doesn 't support VGA output in PAL territories as the game is locked to 50Hz. Nowhere does MS state this, so yeah.. another 1200MSP down the drain as now I can't play the game at all (I don't use a TV, I run my 360 through my 19" flatscreen monitor)

For those that beat it in 2 hours...wow, I aplaud them.
Either I´m stupid or some of the puzzles are indeed hard.
I´ve played for far more than 2 hours and have yet two worlds to finnish.

I'm just glad I have it on my original Xbox and also the PC.
It just sucks ass that MS didn't even bother to inform potential downloaders of that little "fact"

True that.
Just a question, why did you bother getting it if you already had it on two platforms?
