Looks awesome, like a realistic version of Witcher or Skyrim without magic and monsters which is kind of a shame but unique at the same time. FPS combat looks great. Love Cryengine too. Keeping an eye out for this.
Will update closer to the release date.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

The forest is gorgeous, the countryside in general looks very good and combat holds some promise (altought it obviously still needs a lot of work). On the other hand, the conversations are very stiff and last decade and the settlements look somewhat empty and boring. The ambience from TW3, for example, just isn't there. Dunno, might be a fun game but there certainly are some quirks to work out.
Bollocks! I've not checked the updates for a while and didn't realise that in November, you was supposed to decide on which platform you want the digital code for!
Anyone want to swap a PC download? I'm after a PS4 code ... please! The codes won't become available until the day of release.

It’s not going to be a good mini review I’m afraid and is actually quite a brutal mini review for me. Maybe I will have more to say when I’ve played it more as I was only able to play for a couple of hours before work today! :/
I would say the game is like a cross between the Witcher 3 and Skyrim without any monsters or magic and a smaller map. It’s got the first person gameplay of Skyrim and dialogue similar to The Witcher 3. Personally I don’t think it’s as good as either at this point and admittedly I started to enjoy the game more after the first hour after getting out of the starting area.
Hand to hand combat was dull, frustrating and repetitive but swordplay is fairly enjoyable, however I’m not good at it. It’s only takes a few hits to kill the player and bleeding damage is a major factor. It’s also not possible to heal during combat so maybe git gud is the order of the day.
I’m really not a fan of the GUI or map either. It gets the job done but it could be better presented and more user friendly I think.
The voice acting is not great, the lip syncing is terrible and the game appears to be lacking anything that would make it AAA title. Instead it seems somewhere between low budget and average.
It looks nice enough and runs on CryEngine which is a good thing but there doesn’t appear to be any 4K or HDR which is a shame because having played the likes of Monster Hunter World and Shadow of the Collosus lately, it makes me realise how worse 1080p looks in comparison!
I can’t see it getting anymore than 6 or 7 out of 10 when the reviews arrive. In the first hour I had feelings of disappointment and a maybe even a regretful purchase. I’m still undecided about how I truly feel and so far it’s not meeting the level of hype expectations I had.
I’ll go back to it after work and maybe I’ll have more positive aspects to mention lol.
Looking forward to play it.. in 1-2 years (a little depending on how likely it seems that it will get updates after 1+ year), i will try it though (backer). though mods is of course something worth waiting for too, so that plays in for me (PC).
