"ding-dong-stikk" and "knock door run" we called "Nicky-Nicky 9 doors" Pretty cool how kids all play basically the same game all over the world. I learnt that game from my mom. Must of come from Europe. Never did the egg thing. Would never dream of taking an egg outta my moms kitchen. I am sure she had them tagged and marked.

A dragon fly isn't a daddy longlegs. You're thinking of a cranefly.

I love them.
One day I was stuck under a tarp in the rain while camping. I watched this dragonfly eat like 50 mosquitos. One moment I was surrounded by mosquitos, and then they were gone. He went zip, zip, zag and POOF they were in his dragonfly tummy.
Once when I was in grade 5 I found a HUGE dragonfly on the wall coming outta a class portable. The teacher said "Don't touch him" so I didn't. Instead I blew on him. And he flew up and straight into the teachers beard and got stuck!!! I remember his little wings flapping soo hard but he was stuck solid in that wirey mess of a beard. It was one of the Jewish religious beards, they are big and bushy. My teacher was sooo mad at me!!! Send me out into the hallway and the principle walked by and asked me what happened. I started to crying and said "there was this huge drangon fly on the wall and Mr Rothstein said not to touch it so I didn't but I blew on it instead and it flew up and got stuck in his beard" and the principle started laughing soo hard he had tears in his eyes.
I like dragon flys.

You go to the rich houses with huge gardens at night and creep through as many as you can without getting caught. It was quite fun getting caught but more fun running afterwards . |
HAHA i used to do that back in the day , also hedge hopping , similar to garden creeping but instead of creeping u gotta see how many gardens u can get thru by vaulting hedges, fences etc.
Other game we used to do was chases , basically insult large blokes in the street and get a chase , wasnt fun when i got caught by 5 burly mechanics we had thrown tomatoes at
tho

How about "Kick the Can"? Looked like fun.
Another one was "Grad Wars"? Basically in grad 12 you do shit to other schools and other students. It was actually pretty bad.
I didn't do it but most east end schools in Vancouver used to do it. They would jump other grads from other schools and steal their shoes. One guy got his clothes line hit up a few times. His mom and to stop hanging his clothes to dry. One side would drive other to the other schools parking lot and key the cars there. Some of them released 4 chickens into our hallway and the admin had to catch them.
