that sucks :/ I hope it's nothing. Anyways, liver is the fastest regenerative organ, so with a proper diet it can be healed. Unless you have cirrhosis, then you'll need transplant. But you'll be alright.

Yeah, it's known as Jaundice, although at his age unless he has a genetic susceptibility to cirrhosis I doubt it's liver failure. More likely it's hepatitis or gallstones.

In all seriousness; damn. Hope you're ok, man. I've never had an MRI before, but I've had to have plenty of other scans before since I've had cancer. I now have to go for a scan every five years just to make sure it doesn't come back.

Had an MRI of the head taken recently because I was diagnosed with Lyme, which I don't seem to get rid of. Three weeks of antibiotics haven't done much. Sad

My dad had gallstones, for like 15 yrs, and sometimes he couldn't move because of pain. He also couldn't eat very fat and yolk from eggs. But he got rid of them via laparoscopy and it's all fun and games now Very Happy

About the MRI; Unless you are very claustrophobic... and yes I mean very there should not be a problem. Iv taken one before. Took 5-10 min, wasn't a little boring tho... but at least here in Norway we get to listen to some relaxing music.

Its not like they close the white tube. I could (barely tho) look outside if I really tried. The problem is that you can't move your head. Not even an inch. I did, so he had to redo one of the "sections" or what he called it. Only took 3 more min tho. Its nothing to be afraid of, tts not worse than crawling into a large tube and staying there for awhile. Its not like you are strapped to anything. Anyway you might not want to watch House before you get your diagnosis Very Happy

lol mai friend saw an episode of house where a kid got hep and he was turning all yellow cause of liver failure and when i told him i has yellow eyes and hep a he got all awww fack!

Don't worry my bwoy. Nothing to be scared. Ive had a ton of MRI's and there is nothing to be afraid of. Doesn't hurt or cause any adverse side effects.

Seriously, don't stress yourself out. You will be COMPLETELY fine.
