I already have a mobile phone headset, a cheap, tacky and utterly forgettable Jabra. It has USB connectivity to the PC (apparently) but the cable is far too small and the headset itself is just one poor speaker with an equally poor microphone attached. I want a traditional headset.
What I'm looking for is something that will connect wireless to the PS3 but also function on the PC. I really don't want to have to plug anything into the PS3 though, it's on the otherside of the room. I'm not bothered about connections to the PC so long as they are functional (i.e greater than 20cm's) and not bluetooth as my desktop doesn't have BT, and I don't need it.
I don't like the idea of USB headphones either - do they bypass the soundcard at all?
