I bought a Wii for my eldest son a couple of days ago and took it straight to a mod-shop that same day. After it was chipped, running "back-ups" were a breeze. It's so simple that the myth about PC's are ruining the business with it's massive pirating is starting to sound silly to me. Hell it's just as simple to pirate console games - for the Wii at least.

It's gotten to the point that I'm seriously considering buying an X-Box 360 and chip the living hell out of it. My question is does "back-ups" work just as easy on the 360 as on the Wii? What kind of mods are we talking about?

I don't give a shit about guarrantees and X-live and so on. If I prefered console gaming over PC's I would also buy another one to play solely online on, but I'm still a PC-gamer by heart so MS can ban the crap out of it for all I care. There's just quite a few good single player console games being released these days and I just want to know my options.

You don't even have to chip the x360, simply flashing the dvd drive is all you need to do Smile
