Hi. Just wanted to know the speed that you recommend to burn PS2 Games. I burn it at 2x but i just can't stand the waiting, but if it's preferable to burn at 2x please tell me. Thanks

do all mine at 8x on Datawrite Fujicode Printable 8x DVD-R

no problems here, works 1st time, also same for xbox

as fast as dvd disc will allow... i think more recent burners are more reliable at higher speeds....personally i always use dvd+ discs and i have never had a bad burn (some older ps2 console can't read them ..apparently)

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

It really depends on the media you use and how much of a beating your ps2 laser has had.

If you use a good brand like TDK, SONY, RITEK, etc you can burn them as fast as you like. If on the other you prefer tu use cheaper media, you'll need to slow down the burning to 2X max.

Otherwise the PS2 laser will have difficulties reading the media properlly, and that may cause the games not to load at all, to crash, or to have huge breaks in the middle of the gameplay.
