I wouldn't go as "newish" as the PS/N64 age as they really aren't that old, so try to aim before it unless the system really had an exclusive title that hasn't seen the day of light since.

Mine, I want a new Road Rash game. The one for N64 was alright but I absolutely LOVED the 3rd one on Sega Genesis

2 words: Chrono. Trigger
damn. how sweet would that game be with current gen graphics...
apart from that i'd like to see a remake of river city ransom - i know beat 'em ups like that (á la final fight / streets of rage - for those who don't know RCS) are "outdated" but that game was fun ^^
and maybe Actraiser - mixup between a platformer and a god-simulation - that could actually work out for the current gen - they'd just have to change the pflatforming part...

Shadowrun, of course! Not some fucking butchered "arena shooter" -- a PROPER RPG remake.

Man Battle Toads - hated that game. My cousin had it, and I must've borrowed it like 10+ times and I ALWAYS got stuck on that level where you drive the pod thingies. 3rd level or so? Think I'll get the rom and pwn the sucker now. Very Happy

And regarding remakes, I'd like a new version of the SNES Shadowrun game, complete with the isometric view and all.

I agree with Road Rash, it's long overdue a remake. What about the Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike series of games? Again, they had a poor attempt on the N64 - but that system hasn't aged well at all outside of Nintendo developed titles. Toejam & Earl perhaps?

they just shouldn't have called it shadowrun that's al (like the same discussion with fallout 3 Very Happy) ...
because as far as i remember it had absolutely nothing to do with the p&p rpg (and i consider myself a fan - seeing as i'm still playing the p&p with a bunch of friends) the Sega Genesis version was half decent the snes vesrion was far away from the rules but still fun

Meh. That's subjective, but as Reklis said ... they shouldn't have named it Shadowrun. It had nothing to do with Shadowrun and was just a bland arena shooter.

It has some RPG elements, but yeah.. doesn't have anything to do with the old game Wink

oooooo forgot about the strike games, the one your talking of was Nuclear Strike and it was god aweful. The year before that was soviet strike which I never played, never owned a PS.

According to wiki they were supposed to make another one called Future Strike but turned into this... Future Cop

Toe Jam & Earl was remade already for the original xbox as Toe Jam & Earl III

I heard that there actually is an Earthworm Jim game in development, which would be awesome! I definitely agree with Road Rash, and the Strike games were awesome too. But yeah, the "Streets of Rage" 'beat-em-up' genre really is lost these days, although Castle Crashers sure brings a bit of it back in different ways too, so something like that would be nice too.

Atari was developing it for PS3 with the thought it'd help them with their financial situation a couple years ago.
