Cheers, yea it sure is a weird and cool feeling .
Will for sure show my boss in the morn. He was the one that took care about the production phase of the project in Japan. He is now our boss in Europe.

i know that one was scrapped and the final design that came available is quite similar to older models | Well it is sort a true. Although they kept the basic design of the dashboard. What changed a lot was the floor con and doors.
Original Concept Model (made by me ) And no worries, the pic has been published already .
Final Production (made in Japan based on the concept)
Of course the concept model looks better, But you can still see some of the main theme being preserved in the production interior. This always happen in production, good or not, well... there it is .
Same goes for the extrior
Concept Model
Production

The production model is always a conservative version of the concept which sucks because the concepts always look great. If you don't mind me asking, WTF is that "Shut down Power Grid" handle on the center console? Below the shifter.
EDIT: Don't you run into the problem of having to design within part constraints. For example Toyota shares a ton of it's interior pieces between models so designers have to incorporate that into their work. Like the door handle trim, a designer can make it all exotic and cool looking but Toyota wants to use the same trim as one found in a different model.

He he, That "was" the handbrake (Air break style)
And yes, a lot of the stuff you see in the "production model" is "carry over"
HATE IT! .
