Season premiere (they'll show episodes 01 & 02) airing tonight, the last season recap 3x00 is already out.
Personally I'm really looking forward to this, I think of all the series I follow, Heroes got hit the hardest by the writers' strike. Hope the new villains have some depth to them, and not just some stereotypic pushovers.

Now that Noah is a good guy and Sylar is boring, I don't really expect that much from the villain department. Hopefully they'll introduce a classical brilliant villain and not some stereotypical psycho.

i heard a while back that the guy who played Marlo Stanfield in The Wire (brilliant character and a brilliant actor) is going to be playing the new main vilian. I hope this is true.

i kinda liked season 1-s beginning the most when their powers were more of a unique thing and wasnt all "there is a conspiracy that goes back 6 centuries about the apocalypse and now you have to stop it".
season 2 however sucked hard (probably because of the writers strike), what excuse to they have for 3? saw season 3-s 1-2 episode and i was little dissapointed, but im probably still gonna continue watchin it, Just because...

There are so many 'heroes' now, it's nothing special really. That takes the edge off the show a bit.

why indeed. The two new eps are better than the horrible ending of season 2, but i really dont like this time-travel lets-reboot-the-story cop-out. Some great scenes and some decent acting in it, but i guess it wont get back to the greatness i expected from it after the first season.

exactly , its like they had SO ENORMOUS budget they really didn't knew what they wanted to do with it ,
Heroes was about people with gifts now its about BIG BUDGET studio sets that simulate real life (Africa , Tokyo , America , etc..), it was like they came to the future and we see Sylar fight Peter but suddenly they close the door and we hear only sound and imagine how awesome it must have been ... well now they have the money to show it but now the question is "If they show it will it be crappy"
But atlest you can see they bumped the rating from Teen to Adult with all the blood and gore

I watched this season start and I have to say I'm really disappointed. Feels they've re-used the same characters too much, I'm tired of the same guys over and over again, and the actors inexperience is showing when you compare them to the likes of Malcom McDowell.
The only thing I liked is that the show has become a bit darker in terms of story. That scene between the blonde bimbo and Sylar was good. But the rest was mostly "meh" (that confession at the church was so cheesy I felt like I was in the U.S in the 80:ies).
Oh, also that first scene with Bruce Boxleitner... holy cameltoe.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.
