Ok, first of all: I really love my girlfriend.
But from time to time she reads these, as I call them, women books. Those are books that have quite a simple story (about murder, love or anything) and quite explicit love scenes.
Now, when she reads these books, she always gets those really high expectations. She wants me to be like the men in her books, which means things like having sex 4 or 5 times in a row and for hours, make little surprises every day, and all that stuff girls dream about.
It's not like I wouldn't like to give these things to her, but it's just not possible. I can deliver in the betroom and make her come, but how am I supposed to come 4 or 5 times? I already told her several times that it is just fiction, but she still gets sad, because she thinks I don't care about her.
How come women can be so stupid to take these shitty stories for real? I really would like to punch the authors in the face for making me feel bad about something I am not to blame for...

I agree, these things should be banned imo. They don't contribute to literature and can make women behave like you said...

Dont blame the authors mate, blame your girlfriend. She is the one who cannot seperate reality from make believe.. After all its a similar argument made by those who want to ban violent video games. 99% of us can differentiate. Some cannot. Tell her she is being unreasonable and she should perhaps read factual books in future.

did she tell you that she'd like you to do those things?
sure you can't surprise her every day with a little something (that would defy the word surprise anyway  ) but every once in a while, bring her flowers, or some kinda sweet she likes. for most girls, that does a lot. deep down inside women just want to feel special, unique and too bad it's not enough that we tell them they are because that's not enough for them.
maybe she just want you to care more about her
BUT (there's always a big one around the corner, isn't there?) if she really, really wants you to be like the guys in those books, then either you're in trouble (because no way can you deliver that, while maintaining a life) or she's delusional (which i hardly believe).
talk to her about it, there's nothing wrong with her wishing you were like those guys, but expecting you to be that's not possible.
btw. if she wants to have sex for hours without end, you're not the one that is supposed to come 4-5 times sometimes girls want to be "taken out for a treat" if you catch my drift, at least from my experience

If she honestly thinks men exist in the world who can come 5-6 times in one day then she is not quite right in the head. Unless you pop like 5 viagras, it aint hap penning.

Some women take some dysfunctional relationships books for real life which is not the case in real life! It is their expectation of the relationship that is flawed.
Men do the same thing with Porn. They except those porn girls (pretty, hot girls) to be around irl and to behave the same way except toward them. Sometimes it isn't you but them. Maybe you can show her some books that she doesn't read. Try to get her excited into some new kind of book.
She may be a reader but in the end what she is reading isn't healthy in my mind.
