This may seem odd, but can someone help me out with Civ 4 Colonization?

Like give me a run down on how to do things - produce food, weapons, soldiers, defenses etc

Im having a hard time getting this game (tho Im awesome at Civ 4).

And I know alot of you are really good at this game so if you dont mind, please help me out cause I really do enjoy this game but I cant seem to get it going.

So if anyone decides, outta the goodness of their heart, to help me out, thanks a bunch in advance Smile

so, since i'm still awake and have nothing better to do, i though i'd might help you out.
only problem is, i am horrible at explaining things so i did a little search and came up with this:

but, be aware that it's a tutorial (with some more strategy guides) for the old version of colonization but at least the tutorial applies (in most parts) to the new one.
since i figure you still haven't seen any of the tutorial pop ups take a look at your options and make sure the tutorial is enabled.
i hope that helps you a little bit (until somebody comes around who got that "teacher"-gene in him Smile)

hopefully it can help me get started. Ive got some of the basics down. I just dont know how to create an army and I really wanna kick some native ass lol

By the way people, ANY and ALL suggestions/tips are welcome. Like i said, Im not so good at these game unless I have a trainer so please, lend me a hand Smile
