you took that the wrong way, they have no business touching a classic. They can't even remake a god damn C&C game, what makes them think they can do another fucking syndicate

Spykez... you are an angry angry man, every time I see you, you are bitching and moaning... Bullfrog belong to them, they have the rights and for me, having new games don't touch the old ones...
For one I would like to see a new Theme Hospital or even better a new Dungeon Keeper but even if they botched it, it would not make the old Theme Hospital (Which I still play with by the way) any worse, or Dungeon Keeper 2.

Don't recognize this game. On the good note its Starbreeze which are making it and after playing Riddick Escape from butcher bay I think they are pretty good at making games.

YES! Syndicate was fuckin badass man. Played that shit for hours and hours back in the day. I think I probably still have Syndicate Wars in a box somewhere around here.
I hope they dont fuck up the game tho and keep it true to the original.

Starbreeze is making it not EA, if they leave them alone maybe it will turn out all right 7/10, ea did buy bullfrog and butchered it to pieces, there is nothing left but the rights ea owns, a great company it was too we shall never forget the great evil that is EA and their wicked deeds!
Turning this into a fps would be a big mistake, it should be a tps at the worst, top-down look would be ideal, one of the best oldies.

For all the stick he gets the best thing that could have happened is for Peter Molyneux to buy the rights back for all these games. He may or may never touch them but at least you know their name isn't just going to be used as a cash cow.

Hell yeah we do!
Imo it would be enough to take the first part and just add top notch graphics. That would be enough for me tbh.

EA had the rights for this classic from the start{they have publish the first one and it's sequel}
they technically can do with it whatever they want to.

Starbreeze Studios, the developer of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and The Darkness, is working with Electronic Arts to reinvigorate one of the publisher's "most acclaimed classic franchises." The project, which carries the codename Project RedLime, is in development for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Project RedLime, which will be officially announced at a later date, will be published through the EA Partners label. EA Partners also recently published games including Crysis, The Orange Box and Hellgate: London.
"EA Partners gives independent developers like Starbreeze access to EA's unrivaled global publishing infrastructure, letting us focus our energy on what we do best - making incredible games," said Johan Kristiansson, CEO of Starbreeze Studios.
"We're already deep in development on Project RedLime and the team at EA is giving us the time we need to perfect our vision. We're excited to bring a new perspective and gameplay innovation to this beloved fiction."

Starbreeze studios has always delivered gritty games and it actually makes them an ideal dev house to explore syndicate. Looking forward to hear more thats for sure.
