Most fucking over rated game series EVER.....
How do they have such a following ??
If they were on PC (yes they are) they would be/are thought to be average as fuck.

I agree Halo is overrated, but GOW difinitely has its charm especially when playing coop splitscreen. Guitar Hero is great with some friends and its just cool to rock in front of a big screen with a plastic guitar in your hand.

GoW 1 at least would not be more than 8/10 without MP and splitscreen coop.

I think you have to look at it as being a console gamer. I used to love games like these, simple minded types, but when I got into PC gaming and saw how complex you can make games, it made my respect for console games go down quite a bit.
The halo following, I'll never understand, the only good thing about it is CO-OP on legendary can be a blast, it's all about co-op on these games. A game can suck serious shit but if it has co-op it can save it.
I've done co-op with Leo on GOW some months ago but it was horrible not having any chat system, had to keep alt-tabbing out of the game using MSN to chat.

Agreed
Guitar hero can be fun if you with a few ppl and gettin smashed but if not, it sucks. And Halo...worst fuckin fps ever. Complete shit. |

Personally I don't like Guitar Hero etc., but I can understand why people enjoy it.
But what I don't get is, is why exactly these people playing Guitar Hero complain about the Wii beeing a "kiddy console". They play the same kind of games on their 360 and then it's not a kiddy game?!

i enjoyed the whole concept but being new to the game doesn't work well against those who's been doing it for 10 years. it was nice when source first came out to play CS:Source cause most of the idiots who couldn't afford a better computer stayed on 1.6 |

Halo in multiplayer is really an awsome experience. It's simple, no learning curve, good maps, awsome weapons. Me and my friends even had a blast with it on splitscreen 4 players =]
I do however feel it's overhyped and overrated. I read on gametrailers that Halo3 got a higher story score than MGS4 which is just stupid.
Gears 2 is the reason im buying myself an xbox this holiday.
