Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment tells the original story of Sword Art Online based on the anime adaptation. Players will discover and learn about the virtual world of Aincrad as they fight for their lives in a dangerous game where if you die in the game, you die in real life. Assuming the role of Kirito, players can create parties and friendships with many familiar faces from the anime as they travel through multiple dungeons and find a way to beat the game.
Furthermore, those who pre-order Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet on PC will receive a free download code for Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment to install when the game officially launches. This deal is exclusive to the PC version of Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and was once available to console players who purchased if Sword Art Online: Lost Song in 2015.
But it seems the penetration still continued.
(EDIT: After reading up on it a bit more it's unchanged on the Vita version but it looks like it was fixed for the PS4 port which I assume the PC version here will be based on.)

Sooo, final thoughts on the PC version of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet are that it’s a decent port. It has its issues (I know it’s not the easiest thing to implement a new UI, but mouse cursor support in menus, please) but I’ve had no real control issues on mouse and keyboard, and it runs just swimmingly.
As for the game itself? Well, I’ve dumped about seven hours into it so far, and I like it more than any of the other SAO games I’ve tried. It still doesn’t quite capture the feeling of being an MMO – not as well as the .hack games, for instance – and the world of Gun Gale Online is depressingly brown and full of warehouses and factories, but I’ve had more fun playing it than expected.
There’s something rather Borderlands about Fatal Bullet, in terms of shooting things and finding guns and collecting a staggering quantity of loot. I’m not totally sold and this absolutely isn’t a review of the gameplay itself, but I will say that it’s compelling enough that I’ve played it for longer than I frankly needed to, and something about it keeps pulling me back in.

Interesting, nothing specifically mentioning the dungeons on the map that you can't enter (Even on the highest difficulty level which unlocks two additional areas and the highest tier weapons.) though perhaps it's part of the character stories and not mentioned specifically.
Game itself? Feels a bit like Crisis Core or what to describe it as. Very light on story (And what story there is isn't really yours, it's for the original characters.) and there's only five or so areas so back and forth a lot and a massive grind for the higher up levels, certain items and then higher quality tiers for said items.
Shooting is solid and there's a number of weapons mostly based on real world ones with a few fantasy or sci-fi alternatives thrown in.
Characters are probably some of the quirkiest ever and all the tropes come into play, probably accurate to the source material though and the original characters for the game itself are no weirder. VR and all but yeah you do some weird stuff in this game ha ha.
(Might make sense though, everyone seems a little unhinged or crazy however.)
Very few enemy types too and even bosses get re-used. From what I have heard this is more geared towards handhelds and in a different tier (A or AA instead of AAA.) thus the smaller scope and asset re-use and extending the gameplay by grinding that would be tough even in a real MMO heh.
(Apparently the release day patch eased some of that considerably for things such as party member affinity so it's not as bad anymore.)
Don't expect too much once it does get cracked, ~10 GB or so in file size thus not the biggest amount of content or gameplay time plus a lot of asset re-use and only a few small areas to explore in total.
(Every fucking dungeon looks the same, final one is a little bit different at least.)
Stupid question, are games from this series single player?

the versioning was bollocks to makew fun of "clickbait site" as CPY said in one of the nfo... its the latest iteration as of March 9 (aka date of last public build)
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
