Acting as an elite soldier, players of "Vietcong" command the A-team, part of the U.S. Special Forces, in realistically represented Vietnamese environments. Players will lead as many as six expertly trained soldiers through 20 dramatic missions, and follow a storyline that captures the danger, fear and unpredictability of the war itself. The full-featured multiplayer mode also allows gamers to play as U.S. Special Forces or Vietcong soldiers and to battle over specially designed levels.
In "Vietcong," the player chooses from more than 25 weapons, including M16's, grenade launchers and sniper rifles. Players can order air strikes or ambush enemy patrols, but success ultimately depends on their ability to keep a level head in the thick of intense action.

Looks like shit. It's predesscor wasn't that good either, it was an average game. Gonna give it a try anyway, if Civ 4 won't eat my time.

guess somebody forgot to tell Pterodon and 2k games that vietcong 1 was a failure. Why would you make a sequel to a game that hardly sold any copies???

it sold a fair few copies and even had an expansion. Imho its the best vietnam game out there. I guess the yanks dont like it cos they lost, but it sold ok in EU. Im positive no.2 will be just as good

I tried the MP demo, was pretty awful IMO. Maybe the full game will be better.

The multiplayer part of the game was very good and it did sell quite some copies

thats by far the most stupid comment I have heard in a while. So probably Germans dont like any of the WWII games because they lost the war????
