I played Lego Indy and got bored after about an hour. There's not a lot of depth to it, but then it's lego. I'm not sure what I was expecting, really.
GRID is quite good. I don't like racing games that much because of the one-slip-up-you're-fucked-ness of them, but GRID has that sorted with the replay system. I used an xbox 360 for windows pad and it worked a charm.

Bionic Commando Rearmed. It's only $15 and is endless hours of old-school fun.

The controls are only frustrating if you are a noob. It has the same controls as the original game. Which also kicks ass. I could see the game being hard to control if played using the keyboard, but only a fuckwhit would play a game like bionic commando with the keyboard and complain about it.
And of course, only a n00b would blame his lack of skill on the controls. Which is probably what you are doing.

I said they're frustrating, not I can't cope with them. Saying someone should definitely play a game based on your nostalgic forgiveness of it's NES controls is pretty n00b in itself.
You should relax a little, exploding hitler. I wasn't saying the game is awful, just that he should go in prepared. It's not a game that most people will be willing to expend the effort into mastering.

I absolutely love it. I didn't play lego star wars. I played indiana but was annoying cause unless you've seen the movies you don't get the story. This batman one makes it's own story which you don't really need to comprehend cause it's pretty easy to guess at. But all in all, playing batman in the gotham universe it's a lot of fun. You can also play as teh villains once you beat the acts.
It's better played on a gamepad though.

That might not be the answer, I've had a 360 for a year now and only bought 2 games, one of which I've sold again. The rest I've tried have been utter crap.

I have the same problem....
Recently could satisfy my hunger to a good game with :
- Kings Bounty ... Got me totally hooked for about 20 hours then it stopped
- PES 2009 ... Legend mode gave me about 12 hours till i found out it needs patching
- Trackmania Nations... as menitoned before
- Civilization IV with mods and expansions... does the trick for the moment
- Mount & Blade ... Really nice game if you don't know it yet
- Roller Coaster tycoon 3 with expansions for when i'm really bored
Then i see sacred 2 being mentioned ... ffs... how disappointing a game can be ??
The only thing i liked on this game was the actual downloading speed i got when i got this game ( 2 Mb/S) and after that the installation. Why you may ask ? Well... just because i thought i found a remedy against my I NEED A NEW GAME ADDICTION FEELING.
I miss the good old times where all good games came on a floppy.
Simple... but addicting as hell.. but hey .. maybe where all spoiled at the moment.
They all show us now how good a game CAN get ...
