um
pretty much 95% of fps games apply
riddick and system shocks weren't exactly corridor though
you had quite a lot of wiggle room
i'm fatally allergic to on-rails shooters like call of doody and such so i can't really recommend much Smile

prey is probably a good example of what you're looking for (just not that scary imo)
the penumbra games are very scary, but there's not a single firearm in the game (and isn't corridor)
condemned isn't scifi, but a spooky corridor
and then there's F.E.A.R. ofcourse, which is a kind of scifi-fantasy-cheesyjapanesehorror thing

r0fl, the first couple of times when the little girl appeared and the dude, it was a bit jumpy.

Then you kinda could predict when the shit would happen.

Although the shooting n stuff was pretty sweet.
Then they released the expansion which was good (more of the same).
Then they released another expansion (even more of the same) and by that point. meh

Talkin about F.E.A.R ofcourse.

Quake 4. It was basically a Doom 3 with not Hell but Cyborgs.

thx, will take a look..

but FEAR isn't the game i'm looking for. played it. it just doesn't have that doom3 feeling - slow movement, bump mapped corridors, etc.. same with RtCW, it's a whole different game. alice isn't the real thing either - not a future thing, and the topic is too fantasy-like.

will try quake4 and undying, though the latter one reminds me unreal1 alot (which isn't actually the style i'm looking for).

OK! Then try Kreed, a real sci-fi-HORROR-shooter.

...
But the only horror you'll experience is the gameplay Laughing

As aforementioned - Make sure to play both Quake 4 and Prey. Both are excellent games, with still decent graphics. Prey is, by far, one of my favorite shooters. It has an excellent story with some amazing plot twists, and just when you think you are about to beat the game and face the final boss - You really are only half-way done with the game. Very excellent game.

Quake 4 is good too. Ultra gorey.

Area 51 was decent and fits exactly what you're looking for.

Came out in 2005, now it is completely free: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/area51/full-game/26957.html

Deus Ex, hands down. Very dystopic sci-fi & cyberpunk, plenty of 'corridors' (and plenty other locales too but don't let that stop you Razz), and has about 30 GOTY awards (and rightfully so). If you've played System Shock the graphics will be better than you expect (it's by the same developers as Thief and System Shock, but DX is a few years younger).
