Does anyone know how to do that? Its so annoying, it pisses me off. Im trying to copy some files into windows directory (trying to make controller work in GTA IV) and it always gives me some shit like access is denied or you need permission to do this action. I tried to take the READ ONLY tag off the folders but it just comes up with that shit again. My account is set as admin, i also tried using cmd command line "net user administrator /active: yes" which is some super secret admin account in vista, and i get the same shit. It pisses me so much Im even thinking going back to XP because i cant delete a freaking simple folder in my documents.
Tried googling btw, and all i came up with is that super secret admin account and people asking you if you are sure you logged in as admin.
Thanks.

First disable UAC and set Hiding System Files to disabled (to show them).

Then right click on the files (or the entire Windows directory if you have several hours Wink), select Properties, select the Security tab, Advanced, Owner, Edit and pick yourself. After that happens, you can edit the permissions as you like (i.e. give yourself Full Control permissions).

Yup i already tried. I set myself as owner and gave myself full control and UAC disabled, but still doesnt work. Cant copy files or remove read only tab. This is seriously frustrates me. Fucking retards at R* couldnt implement 3rd party controllers support.

Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

If this doesn't work, there is something fucked with your installation. Wink
