Clive Owen and Julia Roberts....the only 2 reasons I need not to see this movie....hate them both.
Tho I hate Roberts more than Owen.

children of men indeed is a masterpiece, but i guess it depends also whether you like the actors themselves
for example i really liked the stories of The Aviator and Titanic, but i just can't stand DiCaprio

I can agree with Children of Men. I think thats the only movie I liked him in.
Shoot'em up sucked and Inside Man sucked to (imo anyway). Way to predictable and the acting wasnt good and especially inside man was full of cliche's (when it came to the cops).
I just dont like Owen, i think he's a horrible actor (King Arthur springs to mind). The man doesnt convey emotion well.
And as for Roberts, I dont think anyone likes her nowadays....lol |

Children Of Men and Shoot Em' Up owned! Actually Shoot 'Em Up had the best music i ever heard in a movie besides Casino Royale's theme song, Terminator's (1 and 2) OST and The Crow's OST - there was Nirvana's "Breed", Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades" (!!) and more. Fucking awesome!

Yeah, the Crow had a good soundtrack
But Shoot'em Up was boring as shit, for me anyway. |

Children of men is horribly overrated imo, not bad, but not that good either. Which sort of sums up Clive Owen as well. A better actor could've done a lot more with Children of men, but it's the mediocre quality of Owen that makes it just barely a bit more than a shrug.
And Shoot'em Up is bland, whoever says it isn't must've been watching episodes of Melrose Place their entire lives.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.
