I don't really understand the point of this thread. Do you guys seriously define your whole identity on the fact that you prefer to use the pc instead of consoles? I'm not trying to be an asshole I just seriously find this mentality baffling.
and no pc gamers are not smarter, you only have to read a pc gamer only forum for proof that both console and pc gamerd can be morons.
I do however think he has a point when it comes to the old gamers home computers vs. consoles back in the day. But for what it's worth I just want to have the best possible gaming experience, so I have all 3 consoles and s decent pc, so I can play anything that takes my fancy.

I'm sorry, but in this day of the AWESOME BUTTON® gameplay, that is 100% to do with consoles and the perceived target audience.
Back in the days of Sega & Nintendo, games were not anywhere close to as easy (or, as EA would have you believe 'Accessible') as they are now, and noone seemed to complain. Now though, in this day of profit and quantity, it seems that actual longevity and gameplay is second to marketing, hype and cookie cutter gameplay that doesn't involve imagination to sell.
It is a sad world.

i play both ... so i must be stupid ... hmm yeah so stupid that i could flash my box , installed my own RGH , extract and hack and rip console games etc...
console users are not dumb or stupid they just don't want the hassle every time to buy a gfx , ram or install new drivers just to play a XYZ game ... buy a system for 5-9 years that play all... the plug and play mentality , the normal average folk that work for 11h and just have enough time to just play something for 30m-1h... the live fast die young generation
It hardly matters any more cause most games are heavily dumbed down then released on every available format to'maximise the revenue stream' or whatever is the current metaphor for burning citizens.
They get em every which way - a sad reality revealed by the way that even a mentally deranged Tommy (deaf dumb n blind) could waltz thru any AAA game set on easy mode, yet that disgusting shit happens site where they charge imbeciles for stolen cheats is coining it hand over fist.
