I just bought LBP and Motorstorm 2 last week and today I am off to get Resistance 2.
LBP is surely GOTY!!!Motorstorm 2 is the best offroad racer on any platform. And I am stoked about Resistance 2. Check out the video review here

That's funny considering you can get 3 360s for the price of one PS3.
The only worthwhile exclusives right now are LBP and MGS4.

really? he's not missing out on fable 2, halo, ninja gaiden 2, as well as fallout 3 and gta 4 downloadable content?
rrod is a thing of the past in consoles made in the last year.
you're also paying twice as much for a system with the same games.

no, it's just as good if not better AND twice as cheap...and you're the one who brought up paying for live
oh, and you can mod the 360 to pirate games, making it even less expensive

believe what you want to believe in fantasy land. meanwhile sony corp is losing oodles of money compared to the "inferior" 360, even tho they play the same games, with the same resolution, with the same framerate...and the 360 is half the price.

sorry guys!! I didnt realize we had so many non-native English speakers on this board. I didnt intend this post ot be a ps3 vs 360 fanboy rant. I was just saying that the ps3 finally has some exclusives worth getting. PS3 has always gotten the worst of multiplatform titles and very few exclusives. So this is a welcome change!!!
BTW I own a 360 and have 2 years of xbox gold subscription that I got free from those free referral sites. So dont really care if live is a paid service, its still head and shoulders superior to PSN!!!

i got LBP and it's f-ing amazing. I've never laughed so much playing a game. Motorstorm 2 is great also ..
I wasn't sure about Resistance 2 but after watching the ign review i'm sure it will be epic

yeah i have LBP, best game this Gen, i also have 2 x360 consoles, there's not been that much on 360 this year thats even come close excitement wise. Fable 2 is just a little to buggy, Gow2 just more of the same. 360's no better in relability than at launch, they still fail - maybe not RROD but plenty of other conponents go wrong hence why the new NXE to save failing DVD drives problems and disc read errors. Sony don't need to drop the price as its selling in same volumes that 360 did at launch on a month by month basis on average. 360 has to drop price to keep momentum and to recoup its billion dollar RROD fiasco.

I tried out LBP with my buddy at his place. it's fun, silly, and the graphics are sweet, but the gameplay isn't exactly hardcore or deep. I never messed around with making levels or anything, though.
Resistance 2 I'd like to try out, but the first Resistance was nothing to write home about.

I tell you 360 has better hardware than the PS3 
Most games on ps3 have no AA at ALL!
GTA4 plays 640p on ps3 en 720p on 360.
The cell processor might be the only thing better in the ps3 but it has not yet proven itself.
The main problem with the price of the ps3 is that 360 is using DVD9 and ps3 is using bluray.
I got the 360 and ps3 but games do really look better on 360! |

i just sold my PS3 as games were not as good as on 360. MGS4 was well overated. will stick with the 360 and wii(when i want the mrs and kids to play too).
imagine paying for all games,lol sad really.

No game on 360 looks better than MGS4. Don't say GoW, cause that game is just made up of pretty shaders.
Oh, and to whoever said that LBP was nothing special, and that they never messed around with map-making, you do know that's pretty much the whole point of the game?

Always a lot of fun these Xbox 360 vs ps3 people. i own both consoles and bought the ps3 2 months ago just for LBP. I played some games on the playstation 3 and all games on the Xbox360 but i am very certain to say that the Xbox360 is quality wise in games better as well as price.
Sure the PS3 has some great games that are worthwhile (Drakes Fortune, MGS4, LBP) but in terms of the bigger picture M$ is the true winner here.
Just my 2 cents.
