I am in the ants nest in Shalebridge..in the end room, there are some stray ammo packs for the assault rifle. Picking up any of them causes a CTD, yet picking up anything else in there is fine
the game has been great up until now, but this is just weird.

Maybe they're radioactive. Better not touch them again ...

Yes obviously.. just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar... I was thinking maybe they were a bugged item or something.

yea, the entire game is bugged
it likes to crash in small rooms for some reason aswell
claustrophobic i guess

most likely a sound-bug. When picking them up, the game chokes on the audio-file for whatever reasons...

perhaps trying that unofficial sound-recode fix that is floating around torrent-sites may help there

i have my copy and when i try to load it. it says xlive.dll is missing can any one e mail that dll to me???
