Dies irae, isn't that from Mozarts Requiem? I like that omenus kind of music , and there is nothing wrong with classical music, I had to listen it in high school, and still know people who listen to it daily. Btw I'm listening to LOTR Complete recordings album, and love it!!

What was that movie he did with Natalie Portman? She was like 12 or something...The Professional. He was a hit man and he saves her and teaches her to be an assassin. Good movie.

It was called Léon in French (the film that is), plain and simple And yea, up there with the best!
DAM! did not want to hijack this thread, back on track...Mozart, yea...genius!. Did don't even correct his "partiture" at least according to "Milos Forman" (Amadeus)

I love Mozart and Chopin and Tchaikovsky but i'd rather replace Beethoven with bach. I hate bah. He's so god damn annoying. Just like Vivaldi. If a prick is known for like 3-4(in vivaldis case) good tunes, then they're not really worth my time. Or anyone else's time. Seriously.

I like Vivaldi cause he has the same name as my middle name "Antonio" after my dad .
Na but jokes aside, Vivaldi is probably my nr2 classic composer after Mozart...at least running head to head with Bach.

Super gay! I hate vivaldi with a passion. And then there's this other fuckwad who has all those dreamy symphonies. That are super soft and just make you feel like wearing something Victorian and that wig judges wear, hook up a monocle, put some snuff in your nose, and just ball room it all night. FUCK! I love ball room shit, but not when I'm alone at home, y'know. Not something I can enjoy. Mozart/Beethoven/Tchaikovsky/Chopin, you can listen to em at any time and enjoy them.

Speaking of classical music and shit like that.
Can anyone name some of these "epic tunes" played in movies during some major battles or castrophes. I know that some of them are made for movies, but still, I want the oldies!
Can anyone help?

You mean Carl Orff: Carmina Burana? I listened to the whole thing two years ago on "lake" in Zagreb, it was amazing!!! Btw I love Claude Debussy's Claire de Lune. But all other classical music is good for relaxing...
