GTA IV for me. Although Dead Space was brilliant, it still felt like a RE4 clone, but GTAIV has really raised the bar for sandbox games.

Based generally on what game in that list I enjoyed the most overall obviously GTAIV. They can make a thousand of 'em as far as I care.

I'm surprised not more people are voting Gears of War 2. I voted Left 4 Dead myself, cause I forgot the poll was for 360 games. L4D is definately tons better on PC.

This one is very tough. GTA IV was pretty groundbreaking when it came out earlier this year. We haven't played anything like it and I was hooked for months. Dead Space and Gears 2 are also amazing but Im gonna have to go with GTA IV.

GTA III? Vice City? San Andreas?
As much as I liked the game, it wasn't really anything but a GTA game.

The reason why this game is so awsome is because of the story. If the story was bad i think it would have got a 7.5.

Dead Space was awesome in many ways. Gfx, atmosphere, sound, gameplay... but GTA 4 is still better.

I guess it depends...my rig is not up to snuff, so the 360 version is much better in my case. The matchmaking is geared toward the Xbox, unlike TF2 which was butchered on the 360. However, with the mod/mapping community and steam updates, the PC version will become far superior.
And story schmorey...the GTA IV engine, physics, and details are what made the game. The first time I started driving, I knew it was GOTY

Everyone forgot that GTAIV was boring as batshit and '20 minute missions with no checkpoints' was horrible?

True... it never was 10/10 for me, 9/10 at most.
