Yeah the uber crack does work... but is there any possible way to save your game if you don't have a serial# ? Every time I try to create a Windows Live acct to save it asks me to enter a serial key and wants a legit one.

WTF ? is this a joke ? the game didn't start. i used the original exe files with FEDOR loader

I think it was said to continue discussing gameplay?
My minireview so far:
Best game i played in a while. I was utterly dissapointed bij far cry 2. Thinking it was a free an open world in africa, but in GTA4 freedom is alot better. The story nicely fits in whatever you do, the phone is a nice addition to that. Game runs fine after some tuning.

That window does come up, the game should load about 10secs after that... R U launching from the R* Games Socal Club? If so, try again.. give it time before pressing Ctrl-C

Just did a clean install to try this out. And yea seems to do the job. The game starts up within seconds from that the launcher appears.

I couldnt get past the shaky cam with any of the other cracks, but Fedor is working fine so far. Got this for the 360 anyways, but rather play on the PC.

game launches fine with this new c**ck, but it's not possible to play the game. I see only some background image and the backlight of my car, so it's not playable....Anyone got the same problems?

Maybe the problem is nothing to do with the crack. Whats your specs?

i had this sort of problem with other games and usualy i had to update my drivers and it worked after that

THE ULTIMATE GET-YOUR-FKN-GTA4-RUNNING-GUIDE!
1. INSTALL: Install the game fully & sign up for all the sh*t they want you to sign up for. (You NEED the Rockstargames SocialClub Account!!!)
2. SHORTCUT: Do as described in many of the posts around here... CREATE A SHORTCUT OF YOUR LaunchGTAIV.exe and put it nicely on your desktop.
3. OPENING: Rightclick that motherf*cker and go to properties!
4. CODING: ENTER THE FOLLOWING PART OF THE CODE AFTER THE PATH: -windowed <---------- THIS IS CRUCIAL!!!
5. RESOLUTION: Behind that enter YOUR CHOSEN RESOLUTION like this: -width=1680 -height=1050 (You can chose ANY resolution you want as long as your VGA and Monitor support it.)
6. DETAILS: Behind that CHOSE YOUR DETAILS with the following piece of code: -texturequality=2 -renderquality=4 -detailquality=99 -viewdistance=99
7. SAVE THAT: In the end your commandline should look something like this (with your proper specifications ofc):
"D:\Games\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" -windowed -texturequality=2 -renderquality=4 -detailquality=99 -viewdistance=99 -width=1680 -height=1050
8. CONNECT: Startup this stupid Rockstargames Social Club and LOG ON! IT's CRUCIAL THAT YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND ARE LOGGED ON!
9. DON'T: Do not start the game through the provided button in the up-popping menu of Rockstargames Social Club. Just minimize it to the tray.
10. PLAY: Start the game through your shortcut of LaunchGTAIV.exe and ENJOY THAT MOTHERf*ckER!!!!
NOTICE: You can put in ANY resolution you want, chose ANY detail-level your machine can handle, put in ANY viewdistance you like and the game will run it properly and FAST!

I heard in a review that it wont run on a Pentium D and will crash. It does say Core 2 Duo minimum.

the gameplay ownz especially when it runs sluggish.i love this game.
it doesn't matter if i choose 1024 resolution wth all details low or 1280 with details high. the difference between these two is like 5-6 fps.
best port ever.

This game don't work with the graphics settings. Cannot get texture quality to go past medium. I did the shortcut thing and it didn't work, infact it doesn't even affect it. I am logged into the social club crap as well, still nadda. Any ideas?
