With Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, ratchet and clank tod and metal gear 4.

I also plan to get COD4 or 5, and Killzone 2 this month.

Have I missed anything good? I thought about GT4 prologe - but its not a proper game is it? I can get it for £7- is it worth it even? Im not a massive fan of racing...

That's about it, it's the same 6 games I got, I also have Valkyrie Chronicles & Siren but I wouldn't recommend them.

the graphics for gt4prologe are amazing! but it's for real racing sim fans. If you're not big into racing then I wouldn't recommend it. there's no big crashes or car collision, just really pretty cars going fast.

I've not played it yet, but out of all the games on the PS3 that interest me the most ... Eye of Judgement really looks good. From what I know, and have seen, it works similar to the old handheld "Barcode Battler" game. It's a card-battler where you spawn/create your monster from physical CARDS that you scan into the adaptor that comes with the game.

Sounds awesome to me as I enjoy card battle games Smile

The only downside I've seen is that the bloody game has "booster packs" just like a regular card game .. and you have to pay for them, which blows.

If Killzone 2 wasn't coming out so soon I'd be willing to sell mine.

definitely get valkyria chronicles if you like strategy RPGs.
and GT5 Prologue for 7£ is probably worth it. I wouldn't buy it for 15+, but for just 7, what could go wrong? 7 pounds is nothing Smile

it's like a big demo as far as I know. dozens of cars, a bunch of tracks, online multiplayer as well, and considering the full game will most likely not be released this year, it can't hurt to check it out and it's probably a good game to show off the power of your new ps3 Smile

Even better!

Screw "Little Big Cartoon" - there's only two games I consider worth "buying a PS3" for, and they're Heavy Rain and Eye of Judgement.

Neither, to be honest. I detested MGS3 and I never got the chance to play KZ1, so I don't really know what it's about.

Here you can get it for 290 pounds with a game. I bought one and i had it delivered to my door in 2 days. And it's damn cheap comparing with the danish prices.

I was going to suggest that - as using XE.com his price is coming out at £475, but in the UK 80GB models (RRP) are £299 bundled with a game and/or movie. So if that price is accurate you're definitely being ripped off Shocked

"His" price Wink IE; 4000kr works out around £397.

I was just talking to Deelix about the prices over here in Norway. If I was gonna get a PS3, I'd *definitely* buy a UK one and just import it. We have the same power outlets, so all I'd need would be a £2 2pin>3pin convertor, lol.

I was going to suggest importing also; because at 4000kr the price difference between the UK is around £190. I wasn't referring to your price when I said that.

EDIT; Damnit, I used Danish not Norwegian Crying or Very sad

well, hardware is actually cheaper here than in Sweden and Denmark. At least TVs and projectors. Talked to some swedes at work and they mostly used komplett.se, and komplett is Norwegian = better prices Very Happy But netshop.no got the best prices (I just order and pick it up in Sandefjord, they take visa and all ^^ )

and btw: http://www.prisguide.no/ is very useful if you want to save some money.
Its updated pretty often too.

This is all just conjecture anyway. I have a few criteria to fulfill before I even consider getting a PS3;

1. Cheaper! I ain't paying £300++ for a bloody games console.
2. Hackability to that I don't have to pay £40-50 a game.
3. MORE games, goddamnit Sad

@Deelix

Thanks man! I'll check them out when I need PC parts and can't be arsed importing from the UK Smile

I think it would be cheaper to buy one at netshop than import from UK unless you get an insanely good deal and cheap shipping. ^^

ah, ok its a little cheaper then at least the one at shopto.net 290 pounds = 2910 NOK it seems like. (damn the pound is high now Surprised )
