Hi, my warranty is almost over so I want to force RROD on my 360 and it's impossible. I've tried overheating it over 20 times and it still works without any problems.

Can anyone help me?

To get a RROD you're going to have to open the console, if you can do that without damaging the waranty sticker you can proceed to get a forced RROD. You have to remove the fan cooler from the GPU and lift the GPU form the motherboard at one corner of the GPU. That should do the trick. If you have no cluewhat I'm talking about don't even think about opening your console.

towel trick will fuck your box up after 20-30 times. Parts on the mobo will eventually melt...

try these steps

1. call M$ and tell your box RRoded

2. send the box to them.

3. if they test it and say it has nothing wrong with it and they will send it back, then you just have to repeat steps 1-2 untill they get annoyed and send you a new one

Just tell them that after an hours gameplay or so you nearly always get RROD and have to let it cool down.. they won't test that, they'll just change it.

Yea use a hair dryer to remove the sticker. Make sure the wifi button doesn't melt because Ive had that happen before lol Very Happy

Take it apart and then reflow one of the chips on the motherboard. While in the middle of reflowing, tilt and shake the motherboard. This should permanently damage the board. Youl get RROD pretty quickly.

1. Overheat 360 via towel trick.
2. While 360 is still warm and good, pick it up and shake it.
3. Profit.
