New York, NY – February 10, 2005 – 2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced that it has signed an agreement with SCi Games for exclusive North American publishing rights to Conflict: Global Terror, Carmageddon and Reservoir Dogs.

“We are very pleased to again be working with SCi and building on the successes of this partnership,” said Christoph Hartmann, Senior Vice President of Publishing for 2K Games. “All three of these titles illustrate 2K Games’ commitment to producing high quality games from proven franchises and exciting licenses.”

Conflict: Global Terror brings the series into the 21st century and joins the war on terrorism in this highly anticipated sequel to the successful franchise which has shipped over 2.5 million units in North America alone. In fall 2005, the original Delta Force members from the Conflict series will return to fight alongside players on console and PC, in a variety of locations around the world where terrorism is present.

Carmageddon, a game where speed and racing are not the only goals, returns. Rejuvenated for the console and PC market, the new Carmageddon is faster and more intense than ever and planned for release in fall 2005.

Reservoir Dogs, the Quentin Tarantino classic cult film, is being adapted into an explosive action packed console and PC game. Scheduled for release in 2006, Reservoir Dogs will bring gamers deep into the seedy underground world of crime they fell in love with when it was originally released as a feature film.

Very good Very Happy

So the whole game will be in a warehouse or will there be unrelated scenes of bullshit and this game would just have the name reservoir dogs so it would sell.

I mean what else is there? None of us seen the bank scene so we know nothing about it and putting it in the game will be stupid. All you have left is the escape, the diner scene, and the warehouse… hell prolly the only focal point of the game is the ‘torture’ scene with Mr. Blonde. Stuck in the middle with you by stealers wheel playing in the background and you just chop the cop up… looked nice in the movie but in the game, unless it’s a cinematic, it will suck Very Happy

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

lol, a good point!!
It seems they will invent some new shit, so the game will be playable. Maybe, they will make escape scenes for everyone, and you need to play it out.

It'll suck that way too cause some of them escaped and just kept running and some, as said in the movie, died.

Those in the warehouse were the main characters.
The pig(orange), the loon(blonde), the savior(white) and the paranoiac(pink).

Blonde was the killer so he COULD have the bank scene:
Just a big ass shoot out… kill frenzy… kill as many pigs as possible… take hostages… kill hostages

Pink just like a pussy he ran as fast as he could:
take package and run to the objective. So imagine any gta mission when you have to run away from cops on foot.

Orange and white had the same route so:
Part one would be escape from the heist.
Part two drive as fast as possible so orange doesn’t die ala first thing you do in mafia.

And the warehouse… we know how it ends… so not much game play there.

a few mini games could be thrown in but that's about it...

Good movie… bad idea for a game Very Happy

well it took me a few mins to find but...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105236/trivia

Quote:
# SPOILER: The total death count in this film (onscreen and off) is 17. Four clerks in the jewelry store, five of the six crooks (Mr. White, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue, and Mr. Brown), Joe Cabot and his son Nice Guy Eddie, the two cops Mr. White shot, the cop in the trunk, the 2 cops Mr. Pink shot, the woman Mr. Orange shot, and the "black girl" Mr. Blonde shoots in the bank. Plus, it was never mentioned how many police Mr. Blonde had to shoot to escape the jewelry store. It can be assumed that Mr. Pink is not shot after he flees the warehouse; though you hear gunshots, he can be heard very faintly yelling something to the effect of "i give up" shortly thereafter.

# SPOILER: According to Tarantino, Mr. Pink does in fact survive. You can verify this by increasing the volume of the background sounds: When Mr. Pink runs out of the building with the diamonds, police officers can be heard shouting at him to put his hands on the ground. Gunshots can be heard, then Mr. Pink shouts that he has been shot. You can then hear the officers talking to each other as Pink is arrested.

maybe mr pink escaping from jail? i think it will just be themed on the fact that 6 guys meet up, do loads of robberies and escape etc. i think this is just another way to cash in on the growing games/movies market > Alone in the dark, bloodrayne, godfather, scarface etc. this film is great though Very Happy

Not sure if i wanna play it.
Tarantino Suck.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

you misunderstood me.... in movies based on games they don't use the STORY LINE from the game they only use the concept. Wich is why avp sucked in the eyes of alot of people. Resident Evil blew because it was nothing like the game.

Wasn't the RE2 movies plot identical with the game?

Not only did they add shit, but they changed a lot of shit too.

As for this game idea - it has potential to play on the bank robbery that underpins it all but it will be very tough to pull off with any kudos.

Maybe it's the brilliance of the early Tarantino character story-telling, I'm not sure, but I could of sworn we got some flashbacks of the bank robbery itself? Not just that but the escape scenes.

Either way the details are there to be used.

But likely in order to sell it will turn into an action game. Which is a damned shame.
