I'm going to hold a seminar about the usage of programmable graphicshardware in the realtime visualisationprocess of driving simulators... In 9 hours! Smile I'm pretty much informed about most of the stuff and I think that my presentation is allright and finished but I just totaly forgot that you work in the industry Smile

I just need some informations about driving simulators because everything I found via google was old or shit. Or old shit.

It would be REALLY great if you could provide some links or something! Thx in advance Smile

It's about how to use shaders to create more realism in driving simulators. Like sunreflections on the road, bumps and stuff Smile

Btw I just hold my seminar and it went good, but I think that I forgot to mention some things... I'll ask my prof right after the lesson.

OK he found it good too, but the presentation was a bit too playful for his taste. He awaited something more serious Razz But he liked it Very Happy

Thanks Smile I think that he liked it when I opened up the doom3 editor Laughing But I need to concentrate more on the technical part. I'll have a 1 hour seminar in late march. Hopefully I'll be better by then. Smile

Sorry man, did not see this thread until now.
I could not really have helped you here anyway. We use Alias and Hyper Shot to render 3D generated models. These models are not made in the same way games are done. Basically games are polygon based, Alias uses NURB surfaces. And I am no real specialist when it comes to the nut and bolts of this stuff anyway .

I consider myself pretty descent with Photoshop and Illustrator & co but Wink.

But cool that your presentation went well...congrats!

Infact I just needed more Informations about driving simulators Smile If you have any information on them it could still be of use for me, as I am going to hold an even bigger seminar (1 hour). I am free to choose the theme but I might just dig a little bit deeper. BTW do you guys search for practicants in the IT buisness? Razz
