Released on Gamersgate, should be on Steam either later tonight or maybe tomorrow?

Still stuck on a puzzle in the previous game, roaming around some harbor city slum area trying everything on everything but had to take a break since nothing worked. Very Happy
(That's pretty much how all current adventure games that I currently have installed but unfinished have ended up.)

Yes artwork looks good on the screenshots. But watch a gameplay of this or the prequel Chains Of Satinav.
The motions only consist of like 2 frames

Memoria-RELOADED

Memoria (c) Daedalic Entertainment

08/2013: RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION: Steam
1: DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE: Adventure
Two stories, two main characters, one epic experience: in Memoria, players
travel through different time periods, while following two distinct
protagonists: Sadja, a southern princess who wants to be a war hero, and
Geron, a bird catcher who wants to lift a curse from his girlfriend. The
game combines point & click gameplay with unique magic skills

Sadja, a Southern princess, has an unstoppable desire to become the greatest
hero in history - by joining and succeeding in the biggest war Aventuria has
ever seen: The war of the Mages, fought in the middle of an uninhabitable
desert
Bird catcher Geron lives almost 450 years after the Great War. Geron's
eternal love, Nuri, has been turned into a crow by an evil curse. To give
her back her human form, Geron needs the help of the mysterious merchant
Fahi, who has magical powers. But Fahi is only willing to help Geron if he
agrees to solve a puzzle which Fahi has seen in his dreams. The quest for
answers soon leads to a chain of events that connects both Sadja's and
Geron's stories, threatening to turn the present into a grim reflection of a
long forgotten past

Memoria combines classic point & click adventure gameplay with the features
of The Dark Eye, one of the most successful RPG universes known in the
fantasy world. Point & click adventure game puzzles get a unique twist by
adding magical features - and a wise, talking staff. Over eight chapters
players control both Sadja's and Geron's fates, involuntarily interacting
with each other and bridging over 500 years of time. Each chapter in Memoria
features opulent graphics, epic locations, a thrilling fantasy crime story
and a unique puzzle design that differs from chapter to chapter

Chains of Satinav was great! I'll dl this asap when I get home. Thanks for the info.

I wish they finished the third Deponia aswell though.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Finished it. Man, that last cinematic was so touching Smile

Damn forest took me a bit to travel through, other than that I loved the puzzles. Not too hard, not too easy. Logical too.

Oh, and the ending WILL surprise you. Just a small, but important spoiler:

Now I have to play Chains of Satinav...I didn't like the game when I first tried it, guess I got the wrong impression.

8 IIRC, already deleted it. Spent around 10 hours in the game, Chains of Satinav (which I finished yesterday for the first time Smile ) took me a bit longer, the puzzles were more abstract. Memoria is entirely logical (at least for me).

Oh, and if anyone thought that (heavy ending plot spoiler)

Ending cinematic was great and i hope they'll work it out eventually. Daedalic makes some really nice games...both adventures and rpgs.

Cant wait to see how their new, upcoming game "Blackguards" will look like.

Thanks, though you didn't have to partly throw a insult just because i got stuck somewhere you found easy. Everyone who's played a few games such as this know that brainfarts do happen and you go endlessly searching for what's next when it's right in front of your eyes, and when you find out how easy it was it's an epic face palm moment.
