We are really excited about this project which a slice of our team has been working on for the last months. It's something that'll definitely give more to the Wake fans out there, but just as importantly, this installment will also give an opportunity for players who aren't familiar with the franchise to finally jump on board.
We can't wait to show you more, bear with us. Release dates, platforms and pricing are unconfirmed as of yet, but Fall 2011 is probably a good guess. More coming soon! |

besides.. its pretty obvious that this shit means that its coming to ps3 with move capability, and also the wii... after all, some games just simply cant be enjoyed on anything less than a couch

Who cares? Alan Wake was turned impotent, lame and derp before release... Remedy managed to kill off their own debut in their new franchise after Max Payne 2.

Alan Wake was published by Microsoft Game Studios. There will be no PS3 version unless EA, for example, picks the license (like Mass Effect).

I could care less about this crap. And yes, I played it over an Weekend at a friend's. DLCs inclusive (which were cheap ass short, so laughable). AW was terrible imho, poor man's silent hill made by some retarded sellouts who watched "In the mouth of madness" a bit too often...
The original concept, when it was still announced as a PC game, was much more interesting. Free roam and such. But then came the Halo Effect. (Which was intended to be free roam too btw, when it still was a PC game).

Well I hope it comes to PC for one reason - so idiot console cakes stop saying people are criticizing Alan Wake for one reason, because they are angry it's not on PC. Next excuse: We'll be hating it because it's not PC exclusive.

As for what it is, it can be a machinima/interactive movie with Kinect functionality, or a "Director's Cut" rerelease for PC/360 with refined facial animation.
I don't think it is a release for PC alone.
