You know..Today I discovered the metaphysical essence(even if trough a bit emperical method) of what can be described as the perfect Rude Awakening...
Well to me, a rude awakening is when you go to sleep, after a party(more like a meeting of "goths") with 3 other people in the apartment of the girl you've been hiting on for over 2 months, you get send to the "just friends" zone by said girl, and then being woken up from your drunken nap by the sound of her moaning under one of the other 3 that came with you, in the room next to you....
TL,DR: Life's a bitch....and I realy wish I were still drunk...
Also , a question for you - What is the rudest way you have ever been woken up..both physicly and metaphoricly speaking....

The rudest awakening was a couple of months ago. Some idiot sat on the horn and drove around my block for about an hour...in ~4am!!!! I called the police and eventually the horn stopped 
btw: that girl from your story is a bi... When the girl tells you that she want's to be friends with you, it's best to just go away...

I once woke up with this (very ugly) girl I lived with standing in my room staring down at me. She just ran out of the room without saying anything when I woke up and yelled "WHA FUCK!"
That shit me up for a while, got a lock put on my door a week later. I lived with 8 other people so it's not like it was just me and her.

Nothing that interesing realy , Bulgaria is just a place where sub-cultural steriotypes are always integrated to the fullest in the behaviour of a person.To give an example even if you just listen to one damn metal band and wear black from time to time you are still a "metal", or if you like literature and have a basic understanding of the world around you ,you are with no doubt one of those "artsy" guys, and thusly are limited in you social acceptence only to the group you are fit in.
It is like a damn lame highschool movie but this one streaches for all ages and social relations. If you are not fitting enough in one of those you usualy have to proof to people you are "actualy a preaty nice ,even if a bit wierd guy"
So...When in Bulgaria some girl fancies her self as a "goth"(don't get me started on how damn ubsurd I find the whole "goth subculture" definition worldwide) she is almost certainly:
1.Enjoys all that is black(no surprice here).
2.Drinks only red wine,black aftershock or absinte(you realy don't want to know what they serve as absinte here).
3.All your boyfriends are "metals" or "from the artsy type"(those are usualy the one studing in a theatrical acadamy)
4.Your favorite autor has to be B.Stoker, Poe and Rise's interpretaion on the modern gothic realty is "simply exactly as I ever seen and thought of it myself"....
5.You have at least one "girl friend" you make sure you periodicly are seen giving flowers to,tong kissing in clubs and spread rumours you sleep with(which turn to be actualy true in 2/3 of the cases)...
6.You HAVE TO BE a hypocritic backstabbing bi*** to everyone that tries and treat you not as simple eye candy to get an easy hit on after getting her drunk and saying that you have a Myspace profile called "Lestead666" or something and quoting some Poe.If you soften towards him you are then an "emo", and if he is not a metal head then you are a "poser".
7.I he stays with you even with you beein the above described, you usualy escape him by saying you are in a "bi" period right now....
But it becomes realy interesing when you realise every person you know usualy fits more then one steriotype role - in this case a goth,gamer girl who is into fantasy,LARP and anime...The result is a cute, "Shy"(as in "I am not that type of girl you know") goth loli that simply knows how to get under your skin and will fall for the first one to pretends that he "understands her perfectly and knows what is to be a "missfit"...
PS: this kind of turned into a Pimp My Ride Xzbit situation... "You dawg I put a bitching topic in a bitching topic, so you can hate ,while you hate!"

Hmmm... rudest awakening... don't have one lol... i love waking up and nothin' fucks up my 'it's awesome' feeling when you wake up. Woke up to a txt from a girl telling me she missed her period. Woke up from a phone call from a drunken faggot crying about how life isn't fair. Heck when I was a kid, no older than 11, I woke up to my parents fucking. It's not something you forget.  What else... that's not really a rude awakening. Girl wasn't into you, was into some shlob. Let it be. Let it go. Hell, move on. Sacrifice her or something.

U know whats funnier? After she stopped being mad at me, like no less than 2 days, we were watching...I think it was Fraiser...could be another sitcom, but the same thing happened. The wife dreamt her husband had been cheating on her and got mad...wasn't exactly the same, as I recall...yes, it was fraiser, daphne didnt take a wooden spoon to niles but still, same thing. Anyway, we were watching it and I looked at her and she didn't react. So I started laughing....which caused another 2 day fight...and by fight i mean the dumb bitch would lay in bed facing the wall and only get up to use the washroom and eat/drink. And then it'd end with her crying and a 5 hour long ass discussion about her fucked up childhood issues...I swear, she wasn't even playing with HALF a deck of cards....crazy bitch/attention whore. |

She wasn't a roommate, she just lived in the same house as me, as I said with 8 other people. One of the people who was originally going to live with us dropped out and she took their place, as a friend of one of the other girls already living there.
I think she did fancy me, but her behaviour was kind of creepy. Like I would come into a room and she'd just stare at me, and I'd say "Hi" and she wouldn't respond, just keep staring. I would just leave the room quick because I felt uncomfortable.

Am I the only one thats happened to? Come on married guys, I'm sure its happened once at least.
Still, Ive woken up to punches and shit.
When my ex was on her rag, it was like 9pm on a weekday right. And I've never met a woman in my who's more hormonal and a bitch on her rag. Anyhow, we went to bed and I guess in my sleep I rolled over and put my arm around her chest and hugged her. Next thing I know I wake up to screaming (like bloody murder screaming) and she's hitting me. Im like "WTF are you doing?!"
And she's like "I have cramps and you put your fuckin arm on me!". I said "First off, I was sleeping and we always sleep holding each other and I just had arm across your chest, not your your lower abdomen".
And she says " Well it still hurts my cramps, now they are twice as bad" and started balling. I didn't care honestly cuz before her I was with plenty of women who, during out relationship, had their rag and they didnt care where I hugged them as long as I didn't squeeze their lower abdomen.
So I let her cry cuz i did nothing wrong and at that point, Im not apologizing for something I didn't do. She obviously had a cramp during her sleep and woke up, felt my arm and blamed it on me.
So she cried for an hour and then she turns to me and says "Are you going to apologize and hug me?" I said "I will hug you, kiss you, try and make you feel better but Im not apologizing for something I didn't do and i'm not on of those guys who will whipped"
We didn't talk for a good 5 days.....

Well that kinda reminds me my last ex-gf. We fought every fucking day and 99% of those situations started because she claimed i did something wrong. She often was right, but those were really SILLY LITTLE things like not saying she looks pretty when we met and went to my place or shit like that. I can say so every few days but EVERY fucking day? Anyway, there were many many situations like this, she would cry for hours (in the night) and yell at me or beat me with fists (of course she was weak, so it rather made me laugh). "Why are you doing this?", "what's wrong with you", "you've got no feelings" etc. Those were words used by her many times. At first i was like hugging her, kissing, saying i'm sorry etc. but later on it became a fucking drag cause she was exagerating every of my words that she did not like. She was an attention whore plus she felt every feeling 100 times stronger than most people.
And at the good side - she was extremely intelligent (which was also a downside), helpful (when we were living together), pretty, sexy...
I actually learned something about sex from her cause she was that kind of a girl that says what she wants straight. That has its upsides (obvious) and downsides (every man likes to be in control, and with her sometimes it felt i dont have total control). Plus she was the least prudent woman i ever slept with so the sex was fucking awesome.
Anyway, her behaviour originated from childhood trauma. She needed much more love that i could give to here so we split but it didnt go smooth. First she wouldn't stop calling me, ringing my door (even though i said i dont want her to come) and behaving like she was obsessed. One day she even cut herself (her wrist) almost at my doorstep but i patched her up and we spent a warm night together. We tried again and failed. I realised pity was the reason of us getting together. So it went on for a couple of days, she said she'll be visiting a psychologist but i didnt really think i could ever love her. So it ended.
Anyway, she was one crazy bitch (my neighbours could confirm that from the noise), bitching, complaining etc. Although i didn't ever woken up being hit with a spoon More likely we were having wild sex in the morning (about 5-6 am, the neighbours fucking hated me ) but later on we would fight each other all day along (until next romantic and/or sex scene :/ ).
EDIT : Oh and my second gf, couple of years ago, also complained that she dreamt of me cheating on her, but she didn't ever hit me in the sleep even with a spoon

Well I realy don't know what to think about her now..For someone that was convinced into sex so damn easy she is quite inteligent(inteligent as in has an interest in classical arts and literature and a well established view and opinion on the world) - but then again half the women I tried to be close with gave the same image and turned out to be rather shallow and fake so that they inspire interest....But I think her beeing also drunk has something to do with it(and what makes me the fool in the situation is that I got her drunk...The reasons I belive are damn obvious)
As for the "goth shit" I find the very existance of such a subculture an abomination to the very concept of the gothical era in human thinking(the one before romanticism) - it is all based around the mindset that there is(are) portions of your indivudality that are so strong and destructive in their influence over your behaviour that in order to remain yourself you must keep a constant struggle with you inner Demons.And what gave you the sence of pesimism and desparation is the fact that you simply can not win becouse ,even though you see yourself as a victim of some perverted game of fates it is actualy your own nature you are supposed to be fighting, and even if you do you would still know It is still inside you - all those dark and twisted desires and goals...At least that is what the original literature movement was - a description of hoping against hope and keeping your will to live, fight and progress even though you know you are doomed to fall victim to your own nature...
It is exactly that sence of the lurking inner darkness of your mind that later inspired the over all view that "gothic" ment dark and in a way deranged.Strange thing is most of the original gothic novels and autors were full of bright colors, descriptions and almost baroque clothing.The only thing that united the works of Marquese du Sade and Bayron for example is the main concept - carving your own path trough fate even though you know it leads to nowhere and the fear of loosing yourself compleatly to your human wickedness that keeps you going.....
The whole "black velvet dresses, candles and roses" image is mainly the work of Bram Stokers "Dracula" - he just blended the intelectual concept of the "gothic thought" with its purely physical expression( the image of the "vampire" - an indivudal who is constantly having to face his own predatory nature in order to keep existing, even though he has no reason for it) those whe read it missunderstood it as the actualy meaning of "gothic"....Fun fact - by the time it was published and gained popularity there was a boom of dark dresses amongst the 18-23 demographics of the period...Afterwards there was about a 2 centuary silance and only literature circles had even a basic idea what "gothic" ment (H.P.Lovecraft's circle for example)...
The modern "goth" kicked in with Alice Cooper...And ofcourse as all popcultural phenomenon it was simply a topical visual expression with no intelectual back ground, that eventual created what sociology calles "fake mythology"...And thusly Marilin Manson was born and suddenly every kid decides that "there is no hope only the tranqility of the grave"(if they know a word as complex as tranqility that is)...
I personaly despise all that is associated with modern "goth culture" appart from some bands(but that is becouse I have a weak spot for female vocals and melodical sound) and the overall visual style - strong contrast of dark colors put next to their bright counter parts as accents and detail - shapes and features that are sharper and longer than natural, "metro" - esqe details and architectural shapes and ofcourse the idea of pale female skin touching dark silk .Also contrary to the rule that female goths are generaly eider extreamly under or overwheight most of the "goth" girls I know look damn hot and if their heads weren't a small scale reconstuction of the Void of space they would be quite attractive(to me that is)...
As for her LARP/Cosplay interests - All I have to say on the matter is quote one thing she told me - "You know I can no longer imagine myself enjoying it(sex that is) without wearing cat ears and a bell colar"

so she's not only a larper, but also a furry. that's a great combo. also if she's serious about not being able to enjoy sex without dressing up, then she's pretty fucked up. i'd stay away from shit like that.
