what apiece of shit i tell you
not even ayear after i bought this second xbox360 core one
and i now i turn it on played 5min lego batman(how lame is that,not even so extensive)
and i got 3 rings
i dont even play one hour aday i swear maybe 3 hours aweek:(
anyone else with those "new models" have this yet?
anybody know of good reliable fixers service for xbox360 in us?

My falcon died in December, nearly a year after buying it. Tho it was E73 not three red rings, anyway I got it repaired at my local Thai shop and it's been working ever since.
They have the Jaspers in stock over here now so will buy one of those when my 360 dies again

thats the thing:
1.its modded so not sure ms will fixit most likely waste of time(sticker alittle off)
2. maybe just buy new jasper one and mod it.(200$ core plus executer 50-60$)
3.fix it using local shop costs around 100$ including delivery so now sure its worth it(90 day garantee only) maybe better buy new one.
4. i was also sure the rrod ends here with this damn falcon(new board smaller cpu) guess not
my son really likes to play lego games
i will see what to do
what would you do in my place?

why would u waste money on some chip? flash is easier and same effect
consider one xbox 360 is a price for 3 games, which is a bargain considering if u not buying games
dunno what u guys doing with your boxes but my first one from 2k6 still alive and kicking, also had 2 rrod but was easlily fixed by me so no harm done

im not talking about chip
im talking about connectivity kit called executer that works with that spear to read liteon key without soldiering.
costs around 50-60$
and does the job
and regrading 2006 xbox360 dont know what u do with it:)
maybe just luck
the thing is
honestly i play like 2-3 hours max on weekends thats it
i dont even play this damn peace of shit hardware and it didnt last a year(same as my launch xbox360,8 months)

Falcons have never been immune to the rrod, they did very little to fix the problem really, it made improvements but for cpu (65nm) and cooling, not for the gpu (90nm) which is main source of rrod. The only rrod-free version is the Jasper (and i bet there are still a few who get it) with its 65nm gpu.
Its all luck anyway, still got my release day Xenon working fine (had issues but none rrod related, just dvd drive) and my Falcon is fine
@ turbomcp how well do you look after ur 360? is it near heating? do you keep it dust free? with such poor cooling on all revisions keeping the case dust free and away from heat is essential

oh man:(
i keep it in standing position on top of the cabinet where my plasma seats(open air)
almost no dust on it(that i have seen)
its all a big shit i tell you
afriend of mine has ps3 inside cabinet this thing gets so much heat outside but still no rrod or anything like that:)
and i barely play man:(
i play like 2-3 hours max on weekend with my kid,its not like a demo machine on target or wallmart:)
what ajoke
i think my best bet is buy new jasper one and tools and get it over with(my son wants to play:))
