Anyone know of any BitTorrent client that encrypts all data sent between peers? I know there are many clients that encrypt the headers to avoid shaping of trafic (like uTorrent among many others) but that is not what i want.
Taken from the FAQ of uTorrent:
"Take note that some ISPs are starting to identify even encrypted BitTorrent connections with upgraded hardware"
That would mean that the encryption is very weak
Well, not necessarily weak, but maybe has a unique traffic shape, that even if encoded, can be identified as bit torrent traffic, but that doesn't mean they know exactly what data is transferred between the peers.
I have force encryption in my uTorrent, and have requested on the forums for this to be set as default in uTorrent, but it is denied every time by devs for fear of ignorance. I think they are afraid that people using uTorrent with force encryption would not be able to connecnt to individuals who (very stupidly) use an unencrypted torrent client, incapable of encryption. This is silly in my opinion, because almost all private trackers require a certain set of bit-torrent clients, who all support encryption.
