hey guys im looking for a slim version of XP pro to install in vmware on my Vista x64 setup, any recommendation? thanks.

You could do the "slimming" yourself with nLite and a CD of XP. Then you have more control over what is removed and what is not.

Check out windows xp performance edition
iirc its only about 250mb
usually is updated every month but pretty sure latest is december edition
anyhow, its 32 bit, was using it all the time before i switched to vista x64

um
you should really take a full retail version and use nlite on it yourself
relying on existing releses will leave you dependent on it and not allowing you to fix it when something is wrong with it
unexpected things, like removing dialup modems disables bluetooth internet
