|
 |
I connected my xbox360 to my syncmaster 2220 wm lcd monitor using the AV VGA cable. first of all I get small white noise its barely visible but still annoying, second in the xbox display options when I put resolution on 1920 by 1080 the picture gets out of focus and streched only on the 1024 by 768 I can change between widescreen and normal screen. how can I play in HD quality??
thank you

maximum resolution supported by your monitor is 1680 x1050
noise could be caused by bad cable or cable didn't fit very well
do u have NXE installed?

try the native res of your monitor 1680X1050.
you need the NXE update to have this res.
EDIT: beat to the punch

ok I just installed the update and there are more options for res, how ever whenever I put on 1680 by 1050 I can't change the screen format and it is cut on the top and bottom corners. basically any res higher then 1024 by 768 I cant change between wide screen and normal screen.

well i did tried it couple of times, mostly played it with vga cable from m$ and was able to run at my native resolution
one monitor 19" second 22", both lg's
hdmi to dvi is alot sharper tho, so if your 360 has hdmi output try that instead of vga
usually i like to sit back and plug it in to my 32" samsung through hdmi, i really hate vga quality on 360 it's so freakin blury and u all jagged

I bought it from the guy, but it was definitely the real package, it was sealed and brand new.

HD = HDMI
HD resolution = 16:9 aspect ratio
xbox actual resolution = 1280x720 (anything more is just upscaled)
but honestly, I use a vga cord on my 22" sammy and it looks perfectly fine... almost as good as my 40" sammy hdtv using hdmi
