|
 |
I just downloaded a .mdf image of Dark Sector. It won't be recognized by normal Daemon Tools. I installed DTPro & got the game installed. I don't like DTPro & hence didn't want to go over the same install process again.
So is there any converter which would convert the .mdf file to a readable .ISO format? I tried Magic ISO, Power ISO & even ISO Buster but none worked.

+1
I haven't needed DT Pro for more than a year. I use Alcohol free edition. Protection-related disc emulation is almost dead.

Can't I try making an image after mounting it with DTPro? I mean not by copying the files onto the HDD but using a ISO creator? Or it won't work?
Can you tell me what would be the proper procedure? Also any tools which are recommended?

Thanks a lot people. Issue is resolved. I mounted the mds file using DTPro again & used MagicISO to covert it into ISO image. Mounted it again with normal DT & it worked like a charm.
