From previews, the SP campaign sounds like Warhammer 1945: Dawn of WW2. It remains to be seen if the model can work in a WW2 environment.

Direct control? Interesting, so someone with a budget is finally picking up on the appeal of Soldiers and Men of War. Should be worth a look.

Quote: | # Direct Fire Control - Not only can the player's tactical and strategic decisions influence the battle, but players also directly control units on the battlefield. Players will aim, fire, and maneuver in real-time to capitalize on the changing battle conditions.
# Command New Units - New infantry and vehicles such as the Schwimmwagen and Staghound will be available. The Schwimmwagen is an amphibious, all-wheel drive off-road vehicle while the Staghound is a highly maneuverable 4x4 Armored Car. |

So direct fire basically means that it'll be like that Possession ability that was in Dungeon Keeper 1? <3 Dungeon Keeper.

There were some issues with certain firewalls/routers that they've apparently fixed in the latest 200MB patch I believe. That might be what he's referring to. That and the fact it's elitist and noobs are treated like shit

It's out but you can't play multi since servers are up. SP is fine, new campaign only a couple of hours though. The interesting thing appear to be the new game modes for multi, and not the new SP content...

In other words, It's exactly the same as opposing fronts with minimal units and vehicles put in the game.
In other words, a fucking rip off!
