Bards.Tale-HOODLUM
- Official web page: Bard's Tale
- Publisher: Ubisoft
- Developer: InXile Entertainment
- Genre: action/role-playing
- Release date: 2005-06-12
- Story/Description:
Quote: |
The Bard's Tale is an action/role-playing game in which the player takes on the role of the Bard - a sardonic and opportunistic musician and adventurer, driven by carnal rather than noble pursuits. The Bard is not interested in saving the world, his humble motivations are strictly "coin and cleavage."
A truly non-linear game, the player chooses the Bard's responses towards other characters he encounters with either 'snarky' or 'nice' dialogue. Each choice changes the course of events in the game. The action takes place in medieval times in a land based on the Orkney Islands off the coast of Scotland - the inspiration for many of the classic fantasy stories
Details:
- The modern interpretation of the original Bard's Tale, the grandfather of all role-playing games, by the original producer - Brian Fargo.
- A new generation third-person, action/role-playing game featuring wicked humor and clever personality.
- Forget the quest to save the world, our hero is interested in just two things: coin and cleavage.
- A deep role-playing experience with non-linear game play resulting in many different outcomes and true replay value.
- Using the Snarky/Nice conversation system lets the players choose the tone of the Bard's interactions. Make your choice and live with the consequences.
- Develop your combat party by summoning a group of eccentrics and misfits to do your bidding.
- Brilliant graphics and bustling environments, alive with interactive townsfolk, original music (with singing), birds, animals, rustling trees, waving grass and trickling water, that immerse the player deep into the Bard's world.
- Based on the storied land of the Orkney Islands off the coast of Scotland - the inspiration for the classic fantasy worlds.
- Driven by the next generation of Snowblind's Everquest: Champions of Norrath Engine.

demo was pretty poor - hope the game itself lives up to its 6Gb Massiv - probably like Act of War 80% FMV !
You wanted a Miracle, I give you the F. B. Eye !!

The demo sucked incredibly, but you all know how we humans work "oh shit 6 gigs then it GOTTA be good!!"
O well, the worst thing that can happen is that its a day of downloading wasted. no biggie =)

Why do you spam this Thread with senseless NUKE/UNNUKE Reasons which are only being made by some kids on shitty sites which disallow DVD9 Games and have unfortunately access to a predb?
Really no one gives a deep shit about nukes like that, if i´d be a game issue nuke (iE Crack doesnt work) it would be different, but a sheep nuke ? Come on .. no one wants to read those here.
EDIT: by sage386
your post was removed due to mentioning SF in the term of virus

I dont wanna read the crack doesnt work nukes either, since 95% of those are caused by kids on their moms voodoo 2 card getting CTD's and blaming it on the crack. Fuck em all.

True, besides the game/music/movie industry makes crazy money, they have huge profits, thats just a fact, no denying that.
All of this "music companies loose blahblah billions a year due to warez", is bullshit, many people wouldnt buy it anyway, but they download it because its Free, give out albums for free in the store and im there!
But really, its a too money obsessed world, if i had created a friggen great game, i would want as many people as possible to enjoy it.
It will hit the roof when it comes to sales anyway, just look at The Sims 2, that was easily cracked but has still sold so damn much that the guys developing it are all driving around in porches.
My point is, if you really create something for others to enjoy, then having 8 million bucks instead of 14 million bucks dont make a difference.
Then we have companies that only develop for money, as EA Sports, but we all know how much fun those games are.....
Point is, if you create something GOOD, movies games or music, it will get sold more than enugh, regardless of warez. But that little tidbit of information is taboo.
