Hi,
I might seem retarded, but how the hell do you start a new game in this? I just bought it, it installed all the updates, the game starts and i'm stuck in some kind of level with pictures of the creators. All i can do is walk to the right until i get to some place that says "Little Big Planet" on the background. Now what? I can't go any further to the right. and going back to the left has no point as there nothing there. How can i actually play this?
thx,
T.

While Little BigPlanet looks cutesy Woosty on the outside, it is actually a rather complex game when it comes to making levels that not only work, but are worth playing. I'm guessing that this game is not for you.

Well no actually i'm not joking. I can't figure out how to get to that pod thing they refer to in the manual. The popup menu only allows me to to customize my charachter, and when i press start, i can change the options and restart that "credit level". I'm really lost here and want to try out this game. i know this may seem a dumb question, but i can't figure it out...

Well i'd never played LBP (or even seen someone else play it) until today. I just did what the narrator voice said, went to the right and it all just explained itself..

Ok i found out what i did wrong. The USB plug of Guitar hero was stil connected (drums and guitar). so my controller was nr3. I could change the controller number ingame but it just added a sackboy to the screen. Now i removed the USB plug, started the PS3, started the game and i'm no longer stuck at the end of that credits level.

Good that you got it going Weird that the guitar made that happen.
Kinda fun to see the elitism just explode all over this thread. I suppose it's in the spirit of defending the game, like so many have already. Sure we know it's "special" and not for everyone (read: only for the creative and inspired) but you don't have to turn into assholes the instance someone has a problem with the game.

Well this game is very fun so far. I'm not really the creative kind so i mostly play the "story" mode or some online levels other people have created and some are simply amazing. It's nice to play a sidescrolling platform game again

hehe.. its a great game to play with 4 friends. we spend lots of hours, and now are stuck in a level with mashines that rotate with electric floor or obstacles... simple amazing, but kinda troubled not to pass through that one.
