Then learn to DIY, mate! It's REAAAAAAAALLY not that hard. You're running 1.4, so you're obviously not using a LiteOn drive. Since that's the case, flashing your drive *should* be as simple as hooking it to your PC and running JungleFlasher.
Check out this guide for help (it's a tad outdated now, especially as it makes mention mostly of older DOS-based tools -- which even though they still work, they're now superseded by JF which works in Windows)
