In a distant future the world as we know it lies in ruins. After an era of
political unrest in the early 21st century the predicted shortage of natural
resources resulted in the downfall of the world economy, and an increasing
instability of democracy. More and more, anarchy started to reign, and big
corporations that exploited new forms of energy became more powerful than
most governments. In 2042 this resulted in the United Nations being
disbanded.

war after war against their competitors in a bid for more territory,
resources and corporate secrets. World War III is not about democracy vs
communism, not about religion, itÆs about profit. In this newly shaped world
the majority of human kind lives in old cities with no hope of a better life
in the future. Only the elite, the rich and powerful, live in new cities
build on the boarders of the old cities. The people in the slums have only
one thing to look forward to, the illegal underground races all over the
world.
