Nice, looks like a good RTS.We had a lot of this game lately, and it looks like a game that can compete with them.
I'll surely gonna check this out.

Woo, so its got 24 linear campaigns + rome total war style freeform map play.
As for gameplay, is it more C&C ish or hardcore battlesim?
How well does the engine run for ya guys? Decent, Sluggish, or Good?

Usually woud download and find all this out for myself, but been getting so much stuff recently, running out of HD space Razz (yes im getting a new one soon heh). So please lemme know, or perhaps a mini-review?

*Edit* Anyone else get pissed off by those 3 part videos listed up above? The devs. treating all this shit as if it was brand new innovation.
"The AI can land boats, it can bomb your base"
Gee...no shit sherlock? I would fuckin hope so.
And are they doin having the President of the studio yappin about it? Like he fuckin knows anything about gaming? Suit n tie Razz
*End edit/rant*

Kind of confusing, because there was already an Axis and Allies game made a few years ago, same name, same situation. These games are based on a relatively popular boardgame, in case you didn't know.

It's interesting to see that this version is an RTS. Both the boardgame and the first video game were simultaneous turn-based, like Risk, and focused on global strategy instead of mission-by-mission tactics. Unlike this version, the first video game was very faithful to the boardgame's gameplay.

Have you played the game?
I guess not.

People pay too much goddamn attention to what "it says on the site".

These environments aren't nearly as well done as S:HoWW2.

i have played the game, and no i havent played Soldiers, but as far as destructive goes, buildings and bridges is eough for me, i dont need to dig me a hole in the ground with a artelleri gun, that doesnt neccessarely make the game more realistic, in the end its the gameplay that counts. You want realistic, go outside.
