Just saw 28 days & weeks later and I wanna see em all! I dont mind low budget or other kinds of undead/thrillers, so long as they're good.

Dawn of The Dead both the original and the remake by Zack Snyder.
Wiki wrote: | Dawn of the Dead (also known as George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead, Zombie internationally, and alternately called Zombie: Dawn of the Dead) is a 1978 horror film, written and directed by George A. Romero. The film stars David Emge, Ken Foree, Scott H. Reiniger and Gaylen Ross. It was the second film made in Romero's Living Dead series, preceded by 1968's Night of the Living Dead, and followed by Day of the Dead in 1985. Dawn of the Dead contains no characters or settings from its predecessor, and shows in larger scale the apocalyptic effects a zombie epidemic would have on society. In the film, a plague of unknown origin has caused the reanimation of the dead, who prey on human flesh, which subsequently causes mass hysteria. Several survivors of the outbreak barricade themselves inside a suburban shopping mall. |
And for check out both Night of The Living Dead and Day of The Dead.

wiki wrote: | REC is a 2007 horror film co-directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza. The film was released in Catalonia in November 2007. Balaguero and Plaza previously co-directed the 2002 documentary OT, The Movie. REC was filmed using shaky camerawork. |
A must see and it will freak you out!

just a question ... since the "zombies" in 28 days later have never been dead, how is it a zombie movie?

zombies simply refers to anything brainless that want kill man dead and eat'er FLEESHHH
so undead or not is irrelivant... zombie is the behaviour, not necessarily the technical state... tis how i see it atleast

Just a few more movies for the list...
Feast (technically it's a monster flick, but it's hilarious and a must see) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426459/
Grindhouse (stylish zombie flick) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462322/
Black Sheep (sheep zombies lol) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0779982/
Diary of the Dead (first person shaky camera, I liked it) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0848557/
Silent Hill (monsters, zombies, etc., very underrated movie) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384537/
Land of the Dead (a OK zombie flick) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418819/
Love Jap horror flicks so I thought I'll mention a few from the top of my head (no zombies):
Ichi the Killer (cult classic) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296042/
Tokyo Gore Police (the most over the top Jap gore movie) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183732/
Suicide Club (cult classic) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0312843/
Audition (cult classic) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235198/

being a zombie and acting like a zombie are two different things.

Dead Set is one of the best zombie flicks I have seen in quite a while.
I would definitely move that up in my priorities of "must see" for the Zombie genre.
I am a HUGE zombie movie fan. Everyone has pretty much nailed them. But, I just wanted to make sure you didn't pass that one up.

Do they only have the first episode? Or... is that release every episode? Confused. There was like 5 different episodes that aired in 1 week.
I'd like to redownload it and watch it in HD because I only saw a crappy Xvid version of it when I watched it.
Edit: Ah i see how they are doing it now with that release. Gonna grab it.
