all I had to read was that cruise is in it....like his last few movies, I predict an epic fail...could be wrong tho.
But look at the hype Lions For Lambs (or whatever the hell the title of that pile was called) and how it turned out....

That guy from the small picture is SS-Gruppenführer Fegelein in Der Untergang. Sad to have him speaking english now as a Nazi in a new movie about Nazi Germany :/
I know im gonna watch it, but the whole speaking english is going to be a block around the leg for me, it just isnt authentic.

No i wouldnt want Tom Cruise to speak german. I would rather watch some german actors, or actor capable of speaking german in roles like this. Sure it might not be the whole hollywood cha-bang, but for me it would be way more authentic.

I bet you guys were among these idiots that complained the elvish languages portrayed in Lord of the Rings (Quenya and Sindarin) were badly spoken, hence not authentic enough...  This is an American movie done by American actors primarily for American audience.

"Alot of people" won't matter when the majority of american audience don't like reading subtitles.

Die Stunde der Offiziere (2003)

and
Stauffenberg (2003)
ARD LINK
Both excellent GERMAN! productions about the assassination attempt on Hitler.
Ok they where both TV productions, but really good.
Especially "Die Stunde der Offiziere".
But I think that you will have problems finding subs for them. But if you speak German, see them.
I am sure they are 10 times better then TC's spectacle.

Please what? If all German is converted to English (i.e. everyone speak English instead of German) shouldn't bother anyone. Having everyone speak German but the main cast is awful though.

The "oh please" was for the QUOTE that I made, I just don't get who the fuck you where pointing at with your "elves and lord of the ring" bullshit. Seems you know more about that particular subject than me anyway. Ive got no problem with some fictional characters speaking some made up mumbo-jumbo, but actual German Nazis speaking English is a somewhat annoyance at first for me.
